Good value for the money (was on sale for under $40)
Was fine for the intended use. Did not mount it in a lathe, so I cannot say what the run out was like.

The holes seem to be M6, not M8
I haven't used the chuck yet- it might be great - I am now just generally nervous, though, because the page says the mounting holes are M8, and they are quite clearly M6. So if you need _specific_ dimensions, maybe be careful with this one.

Value for price
Purchased for my metal lathe. The quality seems good and the price is good. You have to realize that a back plate doesn’t come with it. Had to do some milling on new back plate to make it fit and have some wiggle room for runout adjustment.

small things
I have a old SB 16" lathe. The chucks struggle with any thing smaller that .450. I purchased this to mount in a 4 jaw for doing small work. So far the results have been great. I cannot speak to using this is a mini-lathe, but for what I needed this did the job.

It doesn’t fit my lathe because it has no fitting!
I spent money on a product that I can’t use because I can’t find a face plate that will align the holes with one another

Decent but not great
I bought this to mount onto a rotary table. The runout is minimal and functions as it should. It’s prone to rusting even when coated with rust inhibiting product, which troubles me. I have bare machined steel parts that show no sign of rust. Otherwise, no issues.

Arrived as scheduled without rust or damage.
This lathe chuck arrived as expected; UN-SERVICEABLE. The chuck key could barely be turned by hand. On disassembly the chuck was found to be contaminated with grinding grit as expected. After removing the pinion gears, the scroll gear could not be rotated by hand and was removed with the use of a brass drift and hammer. After a thorough cleaning, polishing the bore of the scroll gear and lubrication, the chuck key could be turned easily and smoothly. If you are willing to spend half an hour cleaning and lubricating, you will have an acceptable chuck for use on a rotary table at a very reasonable price.

HF 7x10 Mini Lathe 93212
Took a chance ordering this, but quickly found it was exaclty what I needed. After reading the reviews, it seemed like a gamble whether or not it would be a direct replacement for my Harbor Frieght 7x10" Mini Lathe 93212/Seig C2 200. I received it quickly, on the next day from ordering, and was able to change it within 15 minutes, without any modifications or adaptor plate. It came with the key, internal and external jaws, and new cap head screws.
