I had a promotional canvas bag that I loved but on a cold day waiting for public transportation, I used it as a seat warmer. When the train came, I forgot that I was using it as such and left it. I'm sure someone is loving that bag!!I purchased this bag to replace it. The canvas on it is not nearly as thick and in terms of construction, beats this bag hands down. However, this bag can hold its own and is the next best thing that I own. So much so, that I am about to order a few more.This bag handled 2, 12pack of 12oz canned sodas on a 10 minute walk. The load didn't feel as secure as when I made this trek with my old bag, but this new bag did hold the load. I checked the stitching and everything seems to be intact with no sign of stress. If I were hauling it for a longer duration of time however, I would prefer to double the bag to get the same security feel as the bag I had. The span of the straps is smaller than my old bag, but the drop is low enough that I can carry the bag on my shoulder If I don't have my winter coat on (bulky, heavy, lined leather that weighs at least 8 pounds). When I have a thinner coat or average leather jacket on, I can carry this bag on my shoulder with ease. This makes a BIG difference, because bags aren't as heavy when carried on your shoulder and I have 5 flights to walk up to my apartment!I definitely recommend this bag.Good purchase, it probably exceeds the needs of most. I don't drive and walk a lot, always bogged down with heavy bags. This bag is a keeper

An OK bag but the description of "heavy duty" is very misleading. I was looking for a bag that has enough structure to stay upright when you set it down, this is not it. The fabric is very light and flexible and if you have anything loose inside it can easily fall out when you set it down. For what it is, it's fine, holds a decent amount of weight and I haven't had any rips or tears yet.

The straps need to be reinforced, as the thread will not hold heavy items from the grocery store. I merely put on superglue where the straps attach to the bag and it works well. I also washed the bags, which makes the bags softer to stuff numerous bags into one.

This is a very nice bag. Large enough to carry a variety of things. The only thing , I wish the straps were a little longer and a little wider. Worth the money .

Disappointed. For 8 bucks and some change I was not expecting indestructible but I was hoping that the bag would be more substantial than a doily. The same bag is at Michael’s for literally less than 1/2 the price. To be filed in the “had I known” category....

While I wasn't buying for durability, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this bag. This would work for carrying a couple of heavier school books or several lighter books. It isn't one of those flimsy super light canvas bags, but also not the super heavy duty kind. It is more of a medium weight canvas. I used mine for my son's halloween candy bag.

It would be better if the bag had stronger handles that were more securely fastened to the bag I chose canvas because I thought it would be more durable.

I would give this nice large bag a five, but the bottom of the bag is narrow and difficult to pack. I haul a lot to and from work and the bag works great and is holding up very well.

Nice canvas material and accurate size. Did not know accurate length of handle and how far it drops down from dimensions given.

Really awesome tote bag! Heavy and sturdy. I had an image printed on it and it turned out beautifully. Great size too. Highly recommend!

Do not buy this bag. It's not as advertised the length of the straps is barely enough to squeeze an arm through. - señor meaner
