Great tasting
Probably the best chicken pesto pasta from a freeze dried I have tasted. Easy to make quick and taste good. Purchased several times and consistency is spot on. Will continue to purchase

Actually tastes good!
This was actually so delicious, one of the better backpacking meals I’ve purchased! Shared it with a friend in a hammock & was so impressed with flavor, texture, and overall quality of product. Felt like I was eating pasta at a restaurant. This freeze-dried pasta meal was exceptionally flavorful—even had a creamy consistency. I loved the good quality ingredients and easy preparation. The meal provides decent amounts of protein as well! We followed the water directions exactly and waited the required time—turned out perfect. Will buy again!

These meals are awesome! Expensive compared to other freeze dried foods but worth the extra in overall taste & quality

I'm a bit of a newbie to freeze-dried meals but here goes.
I followed the directions exactly, thinking the whole time that two-thirds cup boiling water would never be enough. I was partly wrong and partly right. The noodles and sauce came together nicely. The meat however didn't rehydrate all the way and there were times I was half crunching the chicken. It wasn't bad, and the overall flavor was quite good but the chicken was chewy and if my kids had been eaten it, it would have been turned down for sure due to texture. Another downfall was no way is this two servings...maybe 1.5 servings if I'm being generous. I could have eaten the whole thing but would have been quite full, so I had a small fistful leftover. I suppose if you are in an emergency situation or hiking etc it would be worthwhile but I'm not sure I'll buy again.
