After almost a full year of abuse the power cord started to pull away from the plug that inserts into the back of the unit. While it’s still working fine, I decided to buy this T - Power adaptor for insurance so to speak. I received the product and was very impressed at the quality of the unit. I’ve sold these types of adapters for about 20 years in the past. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. This manufacturer makes a good quality adapter for the money. So I received the adapter and tried to plug it into my speaker and “wah, wah, wah!” - it wouldn’t plug in. Nope. Wasn’t going to happen. There was a “pin” inside the connector that is supposed to plug into the JBL unit so it was hitting the “pin” that’s already in the receptacle on the speaker. I contacted T-Power directly under the direction of an insert that came with the unit. All I can say is WOW”! They were awesome. They have an automatic reply email letting you know that they received your message. They also responded in a timely manner. Nick was the guy who helped me. He asked various questions to not only help me, but to make sure that this situation doesn’t happen again to someone else. He asked for a clear photo of the adapters label to use the info to find out if desertcart’s inventory of this part number was incorrect or if the unit was just “picked wrong” when the order was fulfilled. I have not been told as of this time and I don’t expect to be told what actually happened. I just wanted my unit swapped out and replaced with the correct adapter for my speaker. My replacement unit arrived directly from T-Power within a few days. I’m happy with the product as far as price point and quality goes and I’d definitely purchase their products again.
