Lime OUT Heavy-Duty Rust, Lime & Calcium Stain Remover, 24 Fl. Oz. Bottle
Holy sh*t! This stuff works! Better than CLR or Lime Away. It has a nozzle at the top that you flip up and the liquid is blue and a slightly thicker than water consistency. I simply squeezed the bottle (careful it comes out fast) undiluted onto lime scales in the sink and in 5 minutes a using a scrubber, and barely scrubbing, it is almost like new. Wowsa! It can be diluted half and half with water. It's only 2.97 super deal as an add on and you will have it for a long time.

far superior to Lysol bathroom bowl cleaner
easy to pour but way too liquidy. does a good job with most of my rust stained bowl and shower but some scrubbing is required. Lime Away is a jel and there is no scrubbing making Lime Out only a close second as capable of removing rust stained bowl and shower stalls. Lime Out is much better priced. Overall it is a very good product if you don't mind or are physically capable of a little elbow grease.

This stuff actually works
I live in Colorado and therefore have very hard water with lots of lime and calcium in it. Ugh, it gets on everything. This stuff will take that annoying white residue off, as well as rust stains and other nastiness. I could see the rust stains coming off as I was squirting this on my 50-year-old white bathtub. After five minutes of sitting, it was completely gone. I've also used this to get the mineral residue out of my clothes steamer and off my dog's drinking dish (it has a fountain and gets hard water stains easily).I do recommend wearing gloves if you are going to come in contact with it because if it can dissolve hard calcium, your skin is hardly a contender.

Not exactly what I expected
I used this for my fish tank because there was a white crust build up around the whole inside of the tank, on the top where the water level was. I soaked the calcium build up with the lime out for hours then tried to a scrub it off and it did help a little but not entirely. I had to buy a metal algae scraper from petsmart and used that to scrub the build up off and I got about 12 inches of the white crust off before the metal scraper started getting dull. So I went out and bought a real glass scraper from Walmart, and also bought extra razor blades. Though I did not use it yet, I am positive that the blade will work! It's just more manual labor for me.

Seems to work great!
A few months ago, I spotted a low price for this product on a deal website and -- since I'd recently noticed a stubborn ring of limescale in my toilet -- placed an order for it. It was scheduled to arrive a few weeks later, but Amazon said that it wouldn't arrive then and I could cancel or wait. Given the positive reviews that I saw, I decided to wait.It finally arrived a few weeks later and I gave it a try this morning. I read the (slightly frightening) instructions, found something pointy to open the flip-top spout, and gave the bottle a few healthy squeezes to dispense some cleaner around the bowl. The instructions said to let it sit in the bowl for a while, so I closed the flip-top cap and took a shower. (I guess I expected it to be more "gel" or "cream" like, but it was pretty "liquidy". Not a problem, just surprised me a little bit.)When done, I gave the bowl a few hearty scrubs with a toilet brush and the scale appeared to be gone. I figured if it did such a good job on the water-line scale, I should use the solution to scrub the entire bowl and under the rim, so I spent a few minutes really cleaning things up. I flushed and noticed that some of the blue dye remained on the bottom of the bowl, so I gave those areas some light scrubbing and when I finished, the toilet looks almost brand new.I'm usually not a fan of cleaning with harsh chemicals, so I'm going to dig a little deeper into the ingredients to see if I can effect the same results with something gentler like citric acid crystals, but -- other than the possibility that I'm dumping somewhat harsh chemicals into the sewer system -- this product does exactly what it says it will do and if I can't mimic it more safely, I can see continuing to use it.

It WORKS!
I had the worse stains in my toilet , they were black and green and peeling off. Sure I was able to get off some with the brush, even with bleach tabs, but there were yet ugly patches and streaks I couldn't resolve.Until I tried Lime out.The rest is history. Mic drop.

Removed in minutes what we'd scrubbed at for years!
Following a very positive experience with "Rust Out" by the same company, we decided to try "Lime Out" in a different location. Lime Out removed residue trails around the bowl rim (from flushing ports) that we had not been able to budge with any other cleaner despite exhaustive scrubbing. No wonder......Lime Out's active ingredients include hydrocholoric, citric and lactic acids. Not something to leave where youngsters might encounter unsupervised, but will be our "go to" cleaner for future bowl stains/residue of this type. After about two minutes of gentle scrubbing, the entire bowl was "slick as a whistle"....... At another location, Rust Out worked amazingly well on orange stains in both toilet tank and bowl. The tank was discolored completely orange. Two hours after using 1/2 cup of powder it looked brand new (white), without any scrubbing. Same amount of powder and minimal scrubbing of the (white) bowl had it looking brand new in minutes.
