The wiring is where I was getting a little stuck. I did buy an extra quick splice kit and I have phone wiring tools and lots of zip ties from work which helped. I switched between watching 2 videos for help: one from YouTube and one from extreme terrain. I mostly followed the extreme terrain one because the YouTube video I was watching wired the raptor lights into his fuse box which I had no interest in.2 areas I got confused on. Getting the raptor lights spliced in and getting to the marker light on the passenger side.The harness that comes with the grill (the one with just black and red wires and the other end has the clips) has some connectors on one so I was like ??? Where do these go? Well...I chopped those gold, u-shaped connectors off and used my phone tools to crimp down the ones from optional splice kit I bought and that connected to the marker lights. This will power on the raptor lights with the headlights.Getting to the marker lights was another headache. The extreme terrain video, she just reaches right in there, no problem. Uh, not exactly. I'm assuming she had much smaller hands than I do as pinching then being able to pull the connector out was driving me crazy as the light is all the way to the outside of the light assembly in a tight spot. So, I loosened, without removing, the washer fluid reservoir and the main headlight assembly to give me some play. I then disconnected one of the larger headlight connectors that were in my way and that did the trick for me.Once completed, my control box is on the driver's side with the yellow wire going to the passenger side turn signal.My only concern with this grill is longevity. I'm probably going to wrap some critical areas in electrical tape and add some silicon to the connectors I installed. Otherwise a great deal when you shop around. Not overly difficult but for those of us with limited wiring knowledge you may end up taking a few hours plus to navigate some challenges. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment from the get go.-updated7-14* *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2020* The overall installation is a challenge simply because it lacks instructions.There is a video guide out on YouTube.The led lights never turned on.Everything else works well.You’ll need some wire crimp splicers and a piggy back fuse jumper to hook up the amber lights to your headlight fuse and switch.Most likely the issue is the wiring harness is crap.Will update if seller replaces it soon.Update- Seller sent a replacement. The replacement works well.To connect the cables you’ll want to mount the harness to the passenger side as the blue cable for the right turn is shorter.Blue cable splices to the non ground turn light (bluish color)Yellow cable splices to the non ground tan color on the driver side turn light.The red white and black DLR lights connectRed to Tacoma BlueWhite to Tacoma GreenBlack to Tacoma white/black groundThe red and black lead cables:I used a piggy back online fuse and connected the red cable to the headlights (follow your fuse box diagram).The black ground cable, fasten it to the ground on the metal inside the hood.
