Outstanding product.
I am a long time woodworker and just discovered this product. Easy to apply, no offensive odor and great look and feel. Very water repellent and super easy to use. Better than 100% Tung oil or other products I use like Tried and True. My new go-to oil finish. Do not let the price scare you - a little goes a long way and the jar will last me through many projects. I put two coats on a quilted and tiger maple box with curly walnut accents, and the result was outstanding. All of the figure jumped out. I also recommend the Odieโs wood butter as a final coat - increases the shine and leaves wood as โsmooth as a babyโs butt.โ

Great Product
Great product that will last a long time. It was recommended to us by the maker of our beautiful wood charcuterie board. Easy to use and the smell is pleasant. Kind of expensive, but it is worth it to keep our piece in great condition.

Wish I had this long ago.
Great product! Non toxic. I used it on my wood utensils to revitalize them and protect them for future use. Looking for more wood that needs protection in the house.

Good stuff!
Delivered timely and as promised. Smells nice, easy to apply. There are very solid YouTube videos from Odieโs on how to apply work in, and wipe off. Used for my parlor resonator guitar which has cedar top/back, black walnut sides and maple neck. Used instead of shellac. Will apply as needed in future years.

Works just like a wax
I gave it the toughest test I could find. I used it on a very hard dense wood with a extreme open grain. It did not fill the grain with a white or waxy build up and the dense wood did accept the owb. Works great brought a nice sheen and patina. The only draw back may be is that it takes three days for a full cure, but I think it's worth the wait.

Impressive results on a wood floor
I used this product on a wood floor that was sanded to 220 grit to remove chipped varathane, a day after applying Odie's Oil. The butter was sticky and not easy to apply. A fine scrubbie did not get into the wood evenly, so I used a lint free cloth wrapped around a scrubbie and a lot of 'elbow grease', followed up by the scrubbie to remove extra paste; you have to be careful not to leave a sticky residue. An hour later I used a cut up cotton towel with the orbital sander to remove the extra butter and buff it. I changed the clothes frequently as they absorbed the butter. Once that felt dry, I used a wool felt buffer on the orbital sander to give it a final buff. I should mention that I used the same method for Odie's Oil, which was also sticky but more viscous. The results were very good. I should mention that the amount of sheen you get depends on how fine you sand the wood. I had done some research on preparing the floor, originally for using a varathane, and sanded it to 220 grit (about 12 steps, as the wood was previously varathaned and not in good shape), which was suggested for allowing adhesion of varathane to the wood. However, with Odie's Oil, I realized afterwards that you can sand to a much finer grit, as the oil penetrates the wood, not sits on the top to create a film as varathanes do. So the finer the sanding, the more sheen you will have. I decided not to use oil or water varathane due to the strong smell and toxicity, as well as poor reviews for most of the varathanes in the last few years. It was very important to me that Odie's products are non-toxic, for breathing and handling. The smell was very light and not objectionable at all. The floor on which I used Odie's Oil and Butter looks so much better than the adjacent floor, which was commercially varathaned and has a typical plastic shine. The oil brings out the natural wood grain. I think that Odie's products would be great on raw sanded floor trim as well. Since it wouldn't be walked on, I would probably skip the Odie's Butter and just use the Odie's Oil.

Overrated
In my opinion, an overrated product. The price-benefit ratio is too high. The result, unfortunately, did not confirm my expectations. Not bad but not for such a high price.

Odies what else is there to say
I use this wood butter as a final coat on my serving/valet trays. I use Odies oil first, 2 coats then use this as a final finish. Love their products, I highly recommend.
