Is the amount/strength of the tea leaves in the bags identical whether we purchase a 40 bag, 80 bag or 440 bag package?

No it is not... and I know because I weighed a teabag from the 440 package and one from a smaller box which I purchased in a local Store (you can see my earlier review). I'm English and very particular about my tea as I like it quite strong with milk and sugar. If I can't buy a 40 or 80 box, I will buy Yorkshire Tea instead. I would never buy the 440 pack again as I had to use two bags to make a decent tasting cuppa.

I just received a 440 bag and the bags are single servings. Also, continuously break when put into the hot water. What has changed with this product?

I also purchased the 440 bag from them. Every bag is defective! They were not sealed correctly, if you look at the bag before you put it in the cup you will see. I'm very disappointed :(

No it is not. It is a strong black tea. Great for breakfast, but not decaffeinated.
