Does everything I need it to, light and easy to set up.
I got the 1080p version of this monitor 2.5 years ago when it was sold under a different brand name or vendor, but it is the same monitor according to Amazon. I got it mainly to be able to work on my various little headless systems around the house (workstation server and laptops w broken screens) when I can't access them remotely, and for the rare occasion when I need a second monitor for reviewing documents off to the side. Recently I used it to set up a crufty docking station when my laptop's keyboard finally became unusable. There are multiple cable options and I didn't have to scour the manual to get it going. For the price, it has worked out just fine for all the above purposes. The speaker sound quality/volume is good and the screen is easy on the eyes. I bought a little Vesa kickstand for it originally, will probably look for an articulating monitor arm because I kind of like this docked setup vs keeping the heavier laptop on my lap, and a keyboard replacement won't be cheap or easy on this laptop. If you're looking for something for media or gaming, maybe you'll want the 4K version or something different altogether, but imo this one is more than satisfactory for telework and heavy multitasking. Nice little monitor at a decent price.

Nice for Productivity on the Move
I picked up this Portable Monitor mainly for travel and productivity, and after spending some time with it I’ve got mixed but mostly positive impressions. The first thing I’ll mention is the stand, wasn’t a great first impression. At first I couldn’t even get it to hold the monitor properly until I dug out the manual. Once I understood how it was supposed to connect, the magnetic grab finally made sense and worked better. That said, the display itself is excellent. The 4K resolution makes text razor sharp, so I never worry about eye strain or blurry fonts when working on documents or spreadsheets. It’s high-resolution enough that everything looks crisp and professional, and for productivity that really matters. The matte finish is also a big win, especially outdoors or in bright rooms. Normally I prefer OLED screens for their color and contrast, but I actually found myself appreciating the matte surface here—it reduces reflections and makes it easier to use when I’m out and about. I even added a matte protector to my other OLED monitor at home to get a similar feel.Powering it is simple, which is something not all portable monitors get right. It can run straight off a single USB-C (thunderbolt) cable from my laptop, no extra brick needed. Yes, it does get a bit dimmer in that mode, but it’s still totally usable. For me that’s what makes this an excellent productivity portable monitor—if you start chasing higher refresh rates or more advanced features, you usually lose some stability and it makes it at the very least more battery draining, and that defeats the point of portability.Overall, for the price, this is probably as good of a monitor as one could hope getting, it does exactly what I need it to do when I’m on the go. Sharp 4K resolution, practical matte finish, and easy USB-C power make it a great travel companion. If you want something simple and effective to carry along with your laptop, I’d recommend it.

The Perfect Second Monitor
I love this monitor. The screen on my laptop is just too small to do any multi-tasking, but with this portable monitor I can have a document open on one screen that I can reference while doing work on the other screen. So much easier than constantly toggling back and forth on one screen. I especially like the folio case that comes with this monitor, it is like carrying a big iPad around. The case protects the screen nicely and turns into a fool proof stand for the monitor, I can’t think of a better way to do it. As a bonus, if you travel you can connect this monitor to your iPhone and watch movies and other entertainment. Did I mention that you can use this at home as a 2nd or 3rd monitor on your desktop, as well as, on the go with your laptop? It’s the best of both worlds. You won’t be sorry if you buy this monitor!

Plugged into android phone and "just works"
Pretty amazing little monitor. the USB-C to USB-C on android is dead easy. 1 Cable delivers power and video to the monitor(at a pretty big phone battery charge hit) Basically turning phone into Android laptop. Also has full size hdmi port for standard device hookups and vesa mounting holes. Holes very shallow so MUST use very short M4 screws or space longer ones. Picture is very good. The only downside is the limited brightness if you plan on making car computer, in bright light it's going to give you issues. Also, It does have speakers, but that's about the only thing that can be said for them.Purchased to couple with Vesa mounted Raspberry Pi as a "all in one" car PC system but the brightness really limits the use of it in this situation. Even with that limitation it's a great monitor for phone use or as an easy small second/third monitor if you like to keep docs open while working and referencing on PC. Purchased 2, will be ordering another.
