This device, when paired with our already available equipment, was more than up to the task in the hands of our capable Arts Department instructors. The four channels allowed us to capture and highlight different sections and performers as required by the musical selection, and the batteries in the device allowed for multiple uninterrupted recording sessions longer than an hour. We paired the audio recordings with a video log that our Arts Department filmed independently, syncing the two together during editing. We definitely ran up against some limitations as we were capturing music from over 50 performers all at once, but we were very impressed by how we were able to quickly pivot from our concert plans to a music video production by using this device.
