Can't sneak by it without the light turning on!! Has great distance motion detection. Bright light. No issues even when it is frigid outside.

They are all made in China of course, our original one lasted about 4 years then decided to give up the ghost, presumably the panel that charges the batteries. Bought two other brands from the big box stores that never worked right out of the box, so went back to this one. Works fine. It isn't a working light, but provides walking light to get from point A to point B with the range we needed for that purpose. If it lasts another 4 years, that works. In theory the batteries are replaceable. Trick is to keep water from seeping into panel ridges and keep the light components under an eave so they don't get wet.

I don't post many reviews, but after read the 2 negative reviews, I felt this product deserved another perspective....Pros:1) Delivered on time2) (it didn't work right out of the box) but after reading the directions ;-) I charged for 3 days by a window (inside my house) and worked perfectly3) Controls to adjust are three easy to turn dials on the bottom of the motion sensor (pretty much like all other motion sensors); very easy to adjust as they are on the bottom of the unit and well labeled.4) Installation couldn't have been simpler; if you can use a screw driver, you can install it in about 5-10 min (you can use up to 5 screws, I only needed 3); and to connect the solar panel unit to the light unit you just plug the RCA connector together (as easy as plugging headphones into your phone)5) Solid construction - solid plastic material with tight joints; no gaps...Con:1) If you are looking for "very bright", or something that will cast light > 20 - 30 feet, you should look at something with more than 4 LEDs (and a higher price range), price to functionality ratio was perfect for meAll and all, I would recommend this product to a friend.

This seems to be a good product. Unfortunately, mine arrived without mounting hardware and no instructions for function or installation. Attempted to contact seller with ZERO response. When a seller chooses to not respond to very easily fixable/affordable fixes I say BUYER BEWARE.

I am retired, having done electrical and electronic work since 1972, and I've installed hundreds of the hign voltage versions of these motion detectors. I have to say that this unit is the cheapest, lowest quality unit I have ever had the displeasure of using. The device is SUPPOSED to turn itself off in the presence of daylight, but not this one. I had bought a different solar motion light and was thrilled by the quality of the device, so I was taken aback by the cheesiness of this unit. The solar panel actually works well but the cheap housing and bracket was surprising. Also the lower than expected luminous output barely lights up the small section of my yard I bought it for. I will see if it lasts another day before deciding weather or not it gets returned. If you want a cheap toy, buy this device. Otherwise look for a better quality one of which many are sold right here.

I love my new lights. They light up my yard in the dark of night. I live out in the country and these lights surpass what my old bulb lights ever did.

Easy set up and simple instructions. Light was perfect for lighting up my back yard and motion sensor picked up very well. Only down side I bought five and one was defected but it didn't stray me from buying three more.

I like the ease of installation and being able to set how long you want the light to stay on.

It works ok but not as bright as I had hoped. Disappointing for the money I paid.
