My friend takes one on our daily walk and the bowl is a bit smaller and hers doesn't leak at all. That said I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Those two minor inconveniences wouldn't deter me from referring this product to anyone looking for a water source for their fur babies. I bought the neoprene cross body flask holder and I love it!!! It's the best. So light and comfortable to carry. The last thing I want is some hot heavy thing hitting me on the hot trails.
