I used this to color my swiss meringue buttercream, and overall I’m very satisfied. The gel is thick enough for control, yet still smooth and easy to mix in, and it doesn’t affect the buttercream’s texture. A little goes a long way, and the color is very vibrant. I was aiming for hot pink but ended up with more of a purplish pink – likely a learning curve on my end. There was little to no leakage, just a tiny bit seeping from the tip. Even though the color wasn’t exactly what I expected, the cake still looked great.
