Lakewood Juices are Great for Health - Cranberry Heals
I love Lakewood fresh pressed and unsweetened organic juices for health. I buy their pure organic fresh pressed lemon juice and put anywhere from 2-6 tablespoons in 1-2 liters of water -it's very healthy to drink this every day for several reasons and is especially good for helping prevent or possibly breaking down kidney stones. Their pure pomegranate juice is another health juice that I sometimes buy.Cranberry juice is not only high in antioxidants but is super good for several things including prevention and treatment of mild UTI and certain gastric issues including h. pylori, which about half the planet or more has (and left untreated, h. pylori can lead to ulcers in most people and even stomach cancer in a handful of those); I'm not sure, but cranberry juice might also be helpful with certain types of SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). Google is your friend and you need to read and learn how to prevent and treat these things thru intermittent fasting and healthy diet -yes, take meds when you have to do so but a lot of this stuff is recurring and you need to learn how to deal with healing your body naturally instead of hurting yourself by abusing and overusing antibiotics all the time (which leads to resistance and you will pay dearly with the above mentioned as well as other severe health problems in the long-term), so you take them when you must but avoid them where you can do things naturally. So, what does cranberry juice do? In short, it feeds your good/beneficial/healthy gut microbes which helps them keep the bad ones in check (but that only works if you eat reasonably healthy and don't eat tons of processed foods, junk food, lots of added sugars, lots of carbs, etc.). Second, it helps prevent certain bad bacteria (including h. pylori) from adhering to your stomach lining so it can create leaky gut and ulcers (and UTI in the case of your lining way down there).Cranberry juice contains a lot of natural sugar, so don't drink tons of it if you are diabetic or doing a keto diet. Still, I think it is worth taking if you have some of the issues mentioned above and are trying to heal (with or without mainstream meds). For a very basic/mild UTI, pure cranberry juice alone and temporarily eliminating all other sugar and carbs might be enough to knock it out but may take some time days up to a couple of weeks (and of course have good hygiene and... for some of you... stop sleeping with people who might be making you sick and use proper protection). For a more severe or frequently recurring UTI requiring meds, cranberry juice can definitely help speed up recovery. No one thing alone can help with something like gastritis or h. pylori... that requires a strong commitment to changing your diet (drastically in the short-term by eliminating all sugar and most carbs not high in fiber but also eating healthy including foods that are naturally beneficial as prebiotics and probiotics... not in a pill or sugary trash yogurt but actual real unprocessed food... garlic, ginger, mushrooms, onions, leeks, asparagus, kale, and for heavens sake eat some fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi... kimchi... even the vegan version... is your gut's best friend in this whole wide world). A healthy gut helps to prevent most illness.Pure/organic/unsweetened cranberry juice (fresh pressed is best but you can even get unsweetened 100% cranberry juice from concentrate if that is all that is available or since it's more affordable) is one among many health foods that should be in your rotation to help heal and even prevent stuff.

It's a good flavor.
While I did have a little bit of problem with the shipper, when it comes to the actual product (which is independent of the shipper, it's really nice.I use this to make cranapple water kefir.I like that it's in glass jars, as that's better than plastic.

... after reading on different websites that this was very good for Acid reflux
I purchased this product after reading on different websites that this was very good for Acid reflux, and I wanted to go the natural route after reading how horrible most of the medications are that neutralize stomach acids. Being new to the product, I made the mistake of tasting this all alone, and it is really not very good, however, that's because it isn't meant to be!After reading the other helpful reviews here, I mixed some with Cran-mango juice in a 50 / 50 mixture, and it is not bad. Again, it's not a product you're buying for the taste, so certainly that isn't reflected negatively in my rating. The reason for removing one star, is because of the price. While it's heavy, glass and not super-shipping friendly, ours arrived in great shape, and I would imagine that probably contributes to the cost online. As far as whether it works or not, I haven't drank it enough times for me to know at this point and time, so I'll need to update this review in the future, but it certainly is worth the try, as long as the taste is masked with some flavored juice!

Cranberry Juice 101
There are so many products that call themselves "cranberry juice" that's it's well worth reading the label to see what you're getting. Examples: Cranberry juice cocktail has anywhere from 6% cranberry to 50% cranberry with added sugar or artificial sweeteners mixed with filtered water. Cranberry juice from concentrate, unsweetened is about 87% cranberry and 13% filtered water. This Lakewood Organic is 100% cranberry. That can be important if you have a recipe (like mine for mulled wine) where you don't want the taste diluted with water. For everyday use, I like this cranberry juice mixed with liquid stevia (too tart not to have some sweetener) and seltzer water for a healthy and refreshing drink made to my specific tastes. It has helped me to reduce my red wine consumption by a LOT, saving all those calories and other bad side effects, while adding all of cranberry's healthy benefits.

Expensive, but this is the one to get!
It fixed my mom's uti. Better than cranberry supplements and store brand 100% cranberry juice. I have no clue why this one is better, but it worked and the other ones didn't. It is expensive.

Healthy juice that makes drinking other healthy things possible.
I recently got an irritated bladder and I got everything I could that promised to treat it, and cranberry juice is a legendary remedy for this, and I thought why no get the best and go for the "real deal" and not the typical stuff I see in the store. Well, my bladder problem thankfully went away, but then I found other uses for this amazing juice.First of all, it's way to sour to me to drink straight, but mixed it can be used in drinks in many different ways. For example, in the picture is a cranberry aloe vera juice "shake" by combining Lakewood cranberry juice with Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera juice and Lucerne (Safeway) sugar free whipped cream with a milk frother. The cranberry juice neutralizes the "grassy" taste of the aloe vera juice, and the aloe vera juice takes the sour edge off the cranberry juice, and the whipped cream sweetens and smooths out the mix.I've also mixed this cranberry juice vegetable and fiber powder and water, and it makes that drinkable too. The possibilities must be endless.
