Ruby Slippers OAKLEAF Hydrangea Shrub

I was skeptical about shipping a hydrangea or plant in general. It arrive as promised, the size I was expecting. I let it acclimate to the region on my back porch for a week, just watering it. Then I planted it in my flowerbed, between 2 Alice hydrangeas, which are also oak leafs! It is thriving well. I cannot wait to see the 3 of them bloom!! The photos .. 1st one is this hydrangea that I bought, Ruby Slippers. The other two are the Alice hydrangeas that I bought locally. The last picture is of all 3 of them together, the one I purchased and had shipped is in the middle of the other two.

For someone who adores this plant, it came as a rather small plug which was put in the ground immediately. That was 2 weeks ago and it has doubled in size.

I thought it would be more than a stem for the price.

The plant arrived in a timely manner and was healthy. However the hydrangea is much smaller than I expected, especially for the price. I'm a bit disappointed. It was a gift . Because of this, there is no way to know for sure about the item as she lives across the country. My friend wouldn't say anything bad about her gift.

Good quality and very well packaged. I will order more in future and recommend to everyone.

It has not grown. The bark is dry, I cut it off. But I’m hoping it might still grow.
