I was on the hunt for a new iron. (Didn’t realize how expensive they have gotten) I ran across this and decided for $5 I could give it a try. It worked well. I will buy more just to have. Would recommend this family and friends. Easy to use and left no residue.

This product was excellent. Worked very well. I heated up the iron, placed a little bit of this on a towel and the burned fabric residue on the iron came off immediately. Would highly recommend for iron plate cleaning

I recently started sewing, which requires a lot of ironing to make projects look polished. I used a cheap crafting fabric for my first project and it transferred red dye all over my iron's soleplate. I thought this was just a cosmetic issue, but then iron then started transferring the red dye onto other fabrics I ironed. This iron cleaner removed all the dye in minutes of application! I'd been really worried I'd need to replace the iron (which I'd just bought), so this was a big relief. A couple of things to note: You will need to apply the cleaner while the iron is hot. Be very careful! Each tube is good for one application. Larger sizes are available if you think you'll need it more often. You'll need a cotton rag to rub at the soleplate. While it's non-toxic, I suggest using that rag only for iron cleaning once you've applied this product. It seems like something that you don't want to risk getting on anything else. An old presscloth is a good option here. Overall a great product, will definitely buy again if I mess up my soleplate again.

I'm still using these little tubes to clean my iron -- it works! Remarkable that these hasve been made for so long and they continue to be "tried and true". The only challenge is remembering where I put the unused one.... Since the tubes are so small, they tend to get lost. I recommend keeping the extra one in the cardboard until needed. Just put a piece of tape there to hold it in place. There'll be a better chance of finding it.

This didn’t work when I used it the first time. I noticed there was more writing under the directions but it was covered with some sort of sticker. When I peeled it off I saw that it said “Must be used on hot iron.” This wasn’t mentioned in the directions. After I wasted a tube, it worked.

I am actually shocked that this was super easy to use and and it cleaned my iron back to brand new. It was quick and the smell is minimal. I will be buying a few more to keep on hand.

Yes it works well but tubes are really small and comes without cover so once it’s open you must use it fully
