There are many dog leashes being sold across Amazon. It's hard picking which one you will ultimately buy.What you hope for is an honest review, which I promise you this is.What led me to purchasing this particular brand was the overwhelmingly positive reviews which gave me quite a bit of confidence in my decision.I also loved the fact there were many different color/style combinations to choose from.I took my dog on a long vacation. This leash did an exceptional job of keeping her in view and under control.The quality and thickness of the nylon are exceptional. This is a well-built leash. To top things off, the handle has enough ample padding so that you never feel anything but the softness and a firm grip beneath your hand.The included clip is also of exceptional quality so there should be no fear of it failing after it's attached to your dog's collar.I can't rave enough about this leash and its quality. Long term endurance is absolutely there. Don't hesitate to purchase.

I walk my 150 lbs saint bernard using this leash and I feel in control. I especially like the padded handle as I often put the handle above my elbow in case the dog decides to bolt. He has a strong pull and so far there is NO fraying or damage to the leash in anyway.

As soon as I got these new dog leads I did a test and put 500 pounds of pull strength from end to end on these things and they did not break, even the clips held! I don't know any dog that can pull 500 pounds so I'm not worried about these breaking at all. They are high visibility and brightly colored so its easy to see. For the money these are an amazing value.

It's a low price leash, so, I'll try not to judge it too harshly but...It doesn't feel sturdy. I've had these rope style leashes before and this one feels like the outer sheathing is loose, like the inner part that gives a rope strength isn't all there. This is my biggest issue with it, my pup will be over 100 pounds as an adult and I'm not sure I'll trust this thing.I hate the cheap foam handle, so I cut it off right away and made the leash much more comfortable, to my taste. I always loop a leash through itself and then onto my wrist for security, and the foam was in the way. I didn't take any stars away for this though, as it's a personal preference thing and I knew that foam would be coming off when I ordered it. No big deal.The rubber bit that slides over the connection at the clip end is loose and free to slide up and down the leash, a little glue wouldn't hurt. It's cosmetic but it's a little annoying.Overall it's a fine looking leash that works as it should for a 45 pound puppy but as I said, I'm not certain it'll still be useful when he's a big adult.

This is the first rope leash ive had it works really good we just got a dog who loves chewing on the leash this one has held up to the task pretty well. Wish it came in longer lengths im just used to the retractable ones. I would recommend this to anyone who has a chewer...

The pattern of this leash is beautiful. I really like the color and design. Silicone covers the parts where the leash is looped to provide a seamless look, which is nice.What I don't like about this leash is the foam handle and the bag dispenser. My puppy got a hold of the handle and chewed it up. This product was advertised as being resistant to chewing, which for the most part it is but now I have a partially chewed handle that makes my leash look ragged.Though it's only been a couple weeks, the bag dispenser has broken off too. The part where it attaches to the leash broke on its own and now I have to get a replacement.

My guy who is a doxie/poo is not big but loves to run and chace everything and once he does he does he struts and is so proud. He actually would be a good hunter. I had a retractable leash of 16' so he could run more because he has no yard to run in an paid fair money and after a little over a year in the middle of it, it started fraying badly. It was made for a bigger dog and he is only 12lbs. I live where there is a very busy street if this broke he would get killed because if he seen something fun to run after he would. My heart could not bare this ever happening. I got this. It is very heavy and if he did not wear a harrness it would be to heavy but not so with the harness and I can not see this ever breaking. I will get a extension so he can still run. I also have the best leash/harness is the world (no joke) RopeNGo but wanted one longer again. Little guys can wear/use this if they have a harness.

Overall thoa is certainly a quality product. The braiding is well done and it does have a small amount of give so if your dog pulls there is some notification before they're pulling it super tight.The bad: the foam on the clip end just moves up and down the rope.The handle foam is not resistant to any tearing. Once it has any cuts it just starts splitting. See image taken a day after it was torn about 1/4 inch.

Think this is a great lead, just writing a review to draw attention to the length of the lead in that 6 feet is much longer than a standard lead and I wish I would have measured! Don't like using it as have very little control next to a road. Will be purchasing another at either 4 or 5 feet.

I have a 5 month border collie, he’s now 14kg and loves chasing cars. we used this lead since the very beginning we had him and it has proven to be very reliable and durable. our dog still occasionally bites the lead, but I need to say that after 3 months of doing it, it barely affected the lead. will definitely buy another one of these at some point

I’ve bought two now. Comfortable to use but the rubber cover that protects the stitching slips up the lead on both purchases. Still good though if not a little annoying.

Has lasted well would recommend only bought another colour for a change well made and as described .. the delivery was very fast from U.K. to Italy

It has a really comfy handle and gives the tiniest bit stretch when pulled. I'm pleased and my other lead which is extendable and not strong enough for my pooch will be handed to the charity shop.
