I like all of the dry storage and I do use ...
Let me say first of that I'm a beginner when it comes to kayaking. This kayak seems to track well enough for me and it also seems to be stable as I have yet to flip it. I like all of the dry storage and I do use the cupholder. The thigh pads are something I wouldn't have thought of but after taking this thing out, they are a must. The smaller dry storage will not accommodate some of the larger phones. And the larger dry storage has a crappy locking mechanism. When it comes down to features and having a great kayak for the price, I believe this is it. I can pick this thing up with one hand and put in anywhere. I plan on keeping this thing for a lot of years to come.

Damaged upon arrival
Good kayak. Can’t beat free delivery on large items. Paddle holder line was broke when delivered so that kinda sucks.

Perfect Versatile Sit In Kayak for all Ages and Experience Levels
I Absolutely LOVE this KAYAK! I've had it for about 5 years now and besides a few scratches on the bottom and some modification I've made, it looks brand new! All I do is wipe it down with a sponge after use! This sit-in Kayak (SINK) is made of a (3) layer polyethylene, I bought the Sunrise (Yellow/Orange) edition and it has been a breeze to paddle in and work on! This Dirigo 106 comes with an adjustable seat, adjustable foot peddles, outer thigh pads, 2 cupholders (one on the dash and one between your legs!), a quick release bungee paddle holder, bungee rigging on the front and back of the kayak, as well as a large waterproof compartment in the dash and a waterproof locking compartment under the back hatch! The handles on either end make it very easy for 2 people to handle, but honestly, at 49 lbs, I can grab it off my Jeep and handle it myself. This kayak does come in an Angler Edition (rod holder attachment in dash and 2 rod holders built in behind the seat) but I decided to get the standard edition, and customize it myself, which I'm glad I did. I like to fish, so I made a fishing crate to attach behind my seat. This crate has more than 2 rod holders as well as tons of storage and extra goodies. I also cut a small hole in the dash and installed a Scotty Rod Holder, exactly where it would have came in the Angler Edition! Another modification was to put an Anchor Trolley system on the left side to allow me to anchor and change direction while fishing. All the modifications were surprisingly easy and believe it or not, I didn't mess it up. I've taken this kayak in rivers, ponds, lakes, and oceans and it has performed great in all! When kayaking in rougher waters, I can attach a spray skirt to the rim around the seat to keep all the water out. The large water tight storage compartment in the back is large enough to accommodate whatever task I may be doing for the day, and the large space at the nose of my kayak allows me to store even more good! (there's even ample space behind the seat to put quite a few things.) There is also enough room on the deck for my small dog to join my comfortably! This Kayak has been one of the best investments of my life, and I tell everyone it's probably the cheapest and easiest way to get on the water! I can take this kayak into about 8 inches of water, so there are very few limits to it. Upkeep consists of wiping it down after use, and repairs, if any, were all simple. This is a comfortable kayak for a day on the water, or a river adventure! It has fit my lifestyle perfect and I can't wait to start using it again this summer! 10/10

Great All Around Kayak
The media could not be loaded. I'll start by saying I'm 6' 190 and this is just about perfect for me. I've had much smaller people in this and even a friend who was 6'5" 265 recently and the comfort is just great all around. This was my first kayak purchase about 8 years ago and it's really held up great. I've been on dozens of trips with all the rock scrapes and it takes all the punches like a champ would. I've had this on intermediately fast rivers with lots of hairpin turns etc... and it's size is just right for stability and agility purposes. Open water lakes are a breeze with how stable it feels. As you can see by my video, I even took this a step further and converted it into a fishing kayak that can strip back down to recreational use in a hurry with no consequence to function. Since this is my first kayak, I can't really compare how well it tracks against something else but I will say I don't notice anything that would alarm me. I love the storage and the fact that it seals and locks effectively. You can easily fit a backpack cooler in there or even a small fishing cooler. In a nutshell, this Old Town kayak has been a great purchase for me.

Perfect for lakes and slow rivers
The stability and storage capacity of this kayak are the biggest pros for me. It's comfortable for multi-day float and camping trips and it handles perfectly with the extra weight of camping gear. The cockpit is roomy, but it isn't so wide that it's hard to paddle. It's easy to carry so it's no hassle getting it from your car/truck to the water. The only con I've noticed is that it doesn't track well. I don't fish with this model (this isn't the Angler model) so it's not a real turn off for me. Although, because it doesn't track spectacularly, that makes it incredibly easy to steer. With one or two good strokes you can stay clear of river sweepers and other obstacles very quickly and effortlessly. You can't beat this level of comfort and utility for the price.
