XPLORA GO - Watch Phone for children (SIM Free) - Calls, Messages, Kids School Mode, SOS function, GPS Location, Camera and Pedometer - Includes 2 Year Warranty (BLUE)

I purchased an Xplora Go for my son and he loves it. The unit seems pretty good quality and the Xplora Go App for iPhone intuitive. The tracking capability on the Xplora Go watches has been accurate using an O2 SIM. There are alternative options/modes available such as use for pets, assets such as luggage, as well as a watch. The fact that you can swap easily withouth too much faffing about is great. It's possible to change the straps to different colours if you like. So far the battery life is excellent and is lasting approximately 5 -6 days. I have contacted Xplora Customer Services (to ask a question about what SIM to and what sort of deal to go for) who responded via email in less than an hour which was good. In summary, it's a thumbs up - I would recommend!

Overall looks good, but struggling to set up the school silent time. I have the app, and have also downloaded a brochure and watched several YouTube videos but the option is just not there. Gps is good, snd the SOS function is great

I bought this product in Feb and so far it hasn't let us down. The gpr is almost perfect most of the time and signal using giff gaff is excellent. Very easy to use and my daughter loves it. I had one issue where my daughter accidentally broke the moulded strap wile removing for charging. I contacted xplora who had replaced this within 3 days. Fantastic service and very happy overall. Excellent value for money also. Only thing that would be good is a spare strap or to be able to buy the straps individually as I couldn't find them anywhere online?

This watch was reviewed in the children’s The Week magazine & Daily Telegraph as being a great choice. The Xplora 3 uses 2G and has very limited capacity to secure a signal. Without 3 full bars of signal strength commands cannot be a actioned on the watch. SIM free versions are only compatible with 3 or O2 in UK. This makes use even harder for anyone rurally. The GPS location doesn’t accurately position the watch. In our rural location the tracker shows the watch to be 3-5 miles from where my daughters actually is. There is an Xplora 4, it may be a better (more expensive) alternative.

According the their website, you can only use SIM cards from 02 or EE for this watch, both of which are not at all cost competitive as other providers from a pay-as-you-go point of view. We wanted to use PAYG for keeping our son's watch connected so this was no good for us. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the usability or quality of this watch as we never got passed the SIM stumbling block!

Good device. Very useful to stay in-touch with my little one when we are apart. We are both enjoying it!

Great alternative to a phone when your child is not quite old enough for one yet!

My son loves this, so do I. An older child might want a more technical product but for my 7 year old its brilliant. I have full control of who can contact him etc. He loves being able to contact me when i work long hours by sending me a rose emoji etc. With the contacts you add, they can only call the contacts unless they are made "guardian". With the guardians he can send emoji and a voice message and call. He loves seeing how many steps he does in a day. It had helped his relationship with his dad who doesnt live with us. It is slow compared to a proper phone or a non child smart watch but i think for a 7 year old its fine. No problem with signal. Battery lasts a day and a halfish with lots of use. You can turn brightness down etc. I originally bought one on here for 25 pounds, it didnt turn on and when i looked at reviews it seemed everyone had the same problem. So this is basic but for a young child who you still want to protect from a proper phone and social media but give them a bit of responsibility and freedom to contact close family its perfect.

Compré el reloj para mi hija. La idea era comprar algo que me permitiera comunicarme con ella y saber dónde está sin traer todos los riesgos de un smartphone. Llevamos un par de meses usándolo y estoy encantado. A mi hija también le gusta. También creo que puede ser útil para personas mayores que no quieran complicarse la vida (o gastarse la pasta) con un apple watch o similares. Pros: + Puesta en marcha sencilla. Se hace a través de una app que te descargas en el móvil. Ojo: el modelo que compré requiere tarjeta nano SIM (ya lo decía en el título del producto). + Fácil de usar para niños con pantalla táctil. Trae algunas funciones divertidas (podómetro, cámara, etc) pero nada que distraiga demasiado. + Geolocalización precisa para saber dónde está el/la que lo usa. Se puede delimitar una zona y si el reloj entra/sale de ella te llega un aviso. + Modo colegio para evitar distracciones Áreas de mejora: - La superficie que ocupa la pantalla no está muy optimizada (los bordes negros son algo gruesos). Aún así, se nota que los materiales son de buena calidad

Wir hatten für unseren Sohn zur Einschulung die Uhr bestellt, da wir finden, er mit 6 Jahren noch kein Handy brauch, aber wir die Sicherheit haben wollten, ihn zu erreichen oder er uns, wenn er unterwegs ist. Er geht allein zur Schule und wieder zurück und bald auch mit dem Schulbus, da finde ich so eine Smartwatch genau richtig. Die Uhr kam toll verpackt an und das zusammensetzen war total easy. Ich bin erstaunt wie leicht die Uhr doch ist, perfekt für kleine Kinder. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und problemlos. Die Qualität der Fotos ist ok, aber da kann man auch sicherlich nicht die Welt verlangen. Aber meinem Sohn reicht es aus. Schade, das die Kamera direkt beim Display ist und man eigentlich nur Selfies machen kann. Wir hatten schon das Vorgängermodell und da war die Kamera vorn an der Seite so das man auch bessere Umgebungsfotos machen kann ohne sich den Arm zu verrenken. Die Tonqualität beim telefonieren ist ausreichend, könnte aber klarer sein. Aber es ist ok, da man ja eh nur kurz spricht, um zu horchen wo man gerade ist. Die Qualität der Sprachnachrichten ist aber besser. Leider finde ich bis dato nicht den sos Knopf, für den Ernstfall. Die Ortungsfunktion ist gut und mitunter sehr genau auf 10m oder so, aber manchmal hakt sie und zeigt mir eine Adresse weiter weg an, was ja nicht das Ziel ist. Alles in allem eine gute Uhr die ihren Job mach, aber noch ein paar Verbesserungen nötig hat. Aber das würde sich sicherlich auch am Preis dann wiederspiegeln.

Mio figlio ne è entusista facile da utilizzare e facilmente gestibile da noi genitori tramite la sua app che abbiamo installato sullo smartphone. Secondo me un giusto compromesso per i bambini ancora troppo piccoli per avere un cell ma abbastanza grandi da approcciarsi alle comunicazioni indipendenti con i contatti che scelgono i genitori. Funziona bene con scheda sim della Tim la fotocamera non è un granchè ma per l'uso che se ne deve fare è sufficiente.

Estimados amigos de XPLORA, Tengo que felicitarles por el magnífico producto que han sacado, en mi caso enfocado a el cuidado y comunicación con mis hijos, de 8 y 10 años de edad. El reloj ayuda muchísimo en situaciones habituales de paseos, tiempo de ocio, recogida de actividades extra escolares, etc. Por ejemplo en el parque cuando se te pierden de vista, cuando los mando a la tienda de abajo de casa o incluso cuando mi hijo se va a pescar a las rocas en la playa y me ahorro la excursión para avisarles que es la hora de comer. Sin ser un móvil propiamente llamado (el cuál tiene los peligros de internet y accesibilidad por parte de cualquier amenaza exterior), cumple con las mismas funciones en un entorno más familiar y exclusivo. La posibilidad de ver la ubicación o localización en tiempo real es fantástico, y el botón de alarma da mucha tranquilidad ante cualquier emergencia. La cámara de fotos les permite juguetear y sacarse selfies sin necesidad de quitarme a mi el móvil. Mis hijos no paran de pelearse por llevarlo puesto, así que tarde o temprano voy a tener que adquirir otro. Mi más sinceras felicitaciones.

Reçu ce matin, au début j’ai eu du mal à la mettre en route, puis je me suis aperçu que c’était le problème c’était moi. Après quelques teste elle a l’air de fonctionner, je n’ai pas encore compris tous les paramètres mais en tout cas elle fonctionne et est légère au poigné pour un enfant.
