Then I use it to poor the water out to drain. **Q: Does this have a disc on the bottom, or is it sealed all the way around the pot ("triclad")? Thanks!** A: It does have a disc on the bottom of the pot with their brand name on it, but it does appear to Be completely sealed. I don't believe this is an issue and it really is a great pot.
