Good Quality Product

It works.
I have used this very fine mesh to protect leeks from the insidious allium leaf miner for years now. Provided that you cover your plants entirely by covering the mest at ground level with soil the pest will not get at your plants. Please remember not to plant your leeks in soil where they have grown previousl if they had been infected ,this is because the pest larvae remains in the soil to reinfect your leeks etc in the following year thus preventing the mesh from working.

Comes as one piece, so you can use as little or as much as you need. Decent quality too.

Disappointed at raw edges
Only hemmed along 2 edges leaving raw, fraying fabric along the other 2. Did ring Agralan but they couldn’t tell me definitively whether it should come like that and said it “may” of been cut from a bigger roll. Wouldn’t have bought if we’d realised as wanted something more long lasting and less likely to leave bits of plastic thread on our allotment.
