Perfect color match to my Subaru Outback seats. Subaru calls the seat leather color ivory so I got the ivory set of dye. Picked the one that looked close and it went on and blended perfectly once dry (it is a little lighter when wet but dries true to color and matte) I found it worked best to brush on the paint and then dab it with the sponge for a more matte texture and to remove any brush strokes. In my photo I actually used this to cover completely white leather filler putty and it covered it really well I could’ve done a better job on the filler but the color dye is awesome definitely worth the money

Product covers a wide range of leather colors and application is easy, fast, full coverage. It was hardly visible after full drying time. Great product. Works beautifully. Excellent price for the amount.

I love my bonded leather dining room chairs, but they started cracking really bad. I was unable to find any chairs that I like as much to replace them, so I thought I would try to fix them myself. I used a leather crack filler product first and applied it a few times. Then I lightly sanded them and mixed two of the three colors - did not need the white - and after a few applications, I got the color to match fairly well. It's not perfect, but I think they'll last a while longer until I can find replacements or until the cracks start showing up again or elsewhere. The before and after pics are very close up and in bright light, so they look better from a distance, and I don't think our guests will even notice.

Ease of application: easy to apply with nitrile glove and work the dye into the leather; however, the product dries fairly fast so, you need to work it in the area of repair no bigger than 6 x 6 inches per application. Also, due to summer humid conditions here in the upper midwest, i did the sofa work in the garage and let it dry overnight. the next morning, the dyed area did not want to buff out to a satin shine or a low profile shine. the view was a dull more brownish appearance... so, i experimented with a top end leather cleaner-polish cloth with very light motion on the dyed area which caused some of the dye to be absorbed into the cloth. So, be gentle when polishing this technique. RECOMMEND: the product to be rechemistried to have the sheen part of the dyed liquid product that way all in done in 2 easy steps: the application + buff time...

I normally don’t leave reviews but after using this product I was so pleased at how easily this was to blend and apply. I used it on my new cream colored cowboy boots. I scuffed all the paint off of booth front top toes and this product made them look like brand new. Can’t even tell where I scraped them at. If you’re questioning if you should buy this product, do it!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. I ordered this leather/vinyl repair kit and it arrived completely dried out and unusable. The contents were hardened to the point where the product could not be applied at all, making the kit worthless right out of the box. Assuming it was a one-off defect, I tried a replacement. The second unit arrived in the exact same condition—dried up and unusable. At that point it’s clear this is not an isolated issue but a consistent quality control failure. A repair kit like this depends entirely on the material being in usable condition. When it is dried out, it cannot mix, bond, or restore anything as advertised. The instructions and color-matching features are irrelevant if the product itself cannot even be used. Based on multiple identical failures, this product does not perform its intended function and cannot be relied on for any repair work. It is effectively unusable.

I used this on a 25 year old mahogany leather sofa with worn areas and some cat scratches. I did the whole sofa. I mixed a couple of the brown colors and applied it a circular motion. It takes a little finesse but it’s forgiving; a couple times I wiped off spots that were absorbing too much — easy to do in the first few minutes before it dries. I also thinned it with a little water for some areas. I’m impressed. A replacement would have cost thousands.

I love this product so much. It was easy to mixed the 3 custom colors to get the exact color of the beige color leather seats of my Lexus car seats. Now my 9 yrs old car seats looked brand new now & without burning a big hole in my pocket. Almost 99% matched with the original colour & with the sealant, the new paint stays on well after few weeks of sitting on it. Highly recommended for those who are keen to DIY your old leather car seats.

Very easy to use but this kit is really only good for a small repair job of two coats - say a 90 x 40cm section. The dye dries instantly with the use of a hairdryer. It would be great if they could include a small bottle of white acrylic to enable better colour matching

Unfortunately the colors did not match my sofa regardless of how I blended them I just could not match the red/brown color of my chair. To boot, this stuff is way overpriced and it does rub off easily. So if your looking for something that is absorbed by the leather and will buff to a finish without coming off this is not that product.
