Doggie post surgical suit
I did lots of research on different types of post surgical suits made for dogs. I found most had mixed reviews. This product was my final choice for our 70 pound Doodle. The sizing guide is accurate. We brought the suit along to the surgical procedure and our vet put him in the suit during recovery. I wasn’t super successful in lifting up the fabric on the back end well enough when going outside for potty breaks. The material is lightweight neoprene feel and our dog didn’t mind being in it at all. To avoid accidents with the suit, we had our dog in a surgical collar during the day. At night after all the potty breaks, we removed the collar and put this on for our pup to be comfortable sleeping. Product is as described and it served the purpose intended.

Good suite for average x large dog not our great dane
We bought this surgical suite for our 155lb 11 month old male Great Dane who was getting neutered. We like the suite, but we have to lay him on the floor in order to put it on him, his arms are too long. We tried putting his head in first but when we put his first leg through it won't stretch far enough for us to get his other leg in and vs versus putting his legs in first then trying to slip it over his head it won't stretch enough. I know the suite is made for a dog up to 144lbs but his weight is not the issue it's his height.

Recover after dog’s surgery is much more bearable with surgical suit.
Puppy is using surgical suit for recovery after spaying instead of plastic cone. Having nursed my share of dogs through surgery I dreaded watching them recover with the plastic collar or soft collar. Recovery is much easier for me as a caretaker. And my dog quickly accepted the suit. And it keeps her from licking the incision. It’s very easy to adjust it when she needs to eliminate.I am so glad the vet tech recommended I try this. I’m happy to pass on my recommendation!

Great buy!
This suit is a lifesaver! My 65lb golden mix suffers from allergies so he has a tendency to chew on his backside. Wearing a cone caused him anxiety so I ordered this suit. I like how it wraps around his tail which prevents him from chewing at the base and it covers his hip area. Easy access for bathroom use, plus he looks adorable in it :)

Used on 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Buy it!!
I bought the Medium-Long for my female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for her spay surgery. It allowed her to spend the recovery time out of a cone. She totally left her stitches alone while wearing this miracle garment. Not only that, every time she was out of her Surgi-Snuggly, she would try to scratch her stitches using her back legs. The cone did nothing to deter that. As soon as I put the Surgi-Snuggly on her, she would immediately leave her stitches alone and stop trying to scratch them with her back legs. She spent all day in this and slept in the suit at night and did not seem to mind it at all. It made her recovery time soooooo much better for her and for me.Then, my male Cav needed to be neutered and to have an umbilical hernia repaired. Out came the Surgi-Snuggly again. Although my female is more thickly built and she is a couple of pounds overweight, the same exact Surgi-Snuggly fit my long, lean male just fine. He also tries to scratch his tummy stitches with his back legs any time the Surgi-Snuggly is not on him. For him, as a male, I pull the Surgi-Snuggly up around his chest when I take him to potty to be sure he doesn’t pee on it.Again, the cone did nothing to handle him trying to scratch his stitches with his back legs. He did find a way to try to chew at his testicles (not his stitches, but his actual testicle skin) while in the Surgi-Snuggly. I think I hadn't pulled it on him tight enough. So now I pull it on more tight (but not too tight – the fabric is very stretchy). And I do put his cone on him to sleep at night to be extra safe.I put a disposable male diaper on him and then put the Surgi-Snuggly on over that. He doesn't mind any of it. He spends his days like that while he's recovering and it's working just as great for him as it did for my female. The velcro on the back flap is getting a little less "sticking" than it was when I first bought it, but considering how many times a day I undo it and redo it for him to potty (and did many times for my female), I'm extremely happy with this purchase. (And really, the undoing process is super easy and fast. It sounds complicated or like a pain, but it's really not bad.)This is a miraculous product that has allowed my dogs to calmly heal and feel relaxed and to LEAVE THEIR STITCHES ALONE!!!I would buy this again in a heartbeat and cannot rate it highly enough. Thank you!P.S. Photo of my female near the end of her healing wearing her purple Surgi-Snuggly with her harness over it and the leash still attached. After our short walk, she climbed right up on her bed and fell asleep before I took her leash and harness off. She was super comfy. 😊EDITED to add 2 photos of our long and lean puppy in his Surgi-Suggly. This is what it looks like after daily use for about 2 1/2 weeks total between my two pups surgeries. I dried it today to help it shrink a little to fit my little guy better. Also, this is totally ideal for spay and keeping a female from her stitches. Also ideal for keeping him away from his hernia stitches. But I have to fasten the back tightly to be sure he can't reach his neuter stitches. Just to be safe, I put a cone on him for bedtime.TL;DR: Used Medium-Long on my female Cav (thickly built and a little overweight) for spay surgery and my male Cav (long and lean and skinny) for hernia repair and neuter surgery. Worked great for both. Prevents them from scratching tummy stitches with back legs. Didn’t need cone for female. Used cone at first with my male and then only overnight with my male to be extra safe. Surgi-Snuggly made both dogs relax and leave their stitches alone. Both wore Surgi-Snuggly constantly during recovery and seemed totally comfortable. As soon as it’s on, they leave their stitches alone. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 😊

Covered incision site and kept him calm
No cone needed! When I picked him up from the veterinarian he was still groggy after neutering but was really freaked out by the cone. I put the SurgiSnuggly on him as soon as we got home and took off the cone. He was immediately calm (it acted like a thunder shirt). It helps to watch the video prior to needing to use it. It was easy to hand wash and I even put it in the dryer (with a dry towel) when we needed a quick turn-around. It was very easy to release the straps when he needed to go outside or for a walk. Make sure to measure your dog to get the right size. I highly recommend this.

Best after-surgery option for dogs
The SurgiSnuggly was a lifesaver after my puppy's neuter surgery. As soon as the anesthesia wore off, he became terrified of the collar the vet put on him. He was supposed to be kept calm and not run around for two weeks, but immediately he started running around the house, freaking out because he couldn't see anything. Next I tried one of those cute watermelon collars they sell here. It was better than the vet's collar, but my boy could wiggle out of it, which scared him and me. Luckily, I found the SurgiSnuggly. I wasn't sure what size to order because he's got a long body but isn't husky. He fit the medium long for length but a small for girth. I decided to order the medium long because having adequate length for his back and legs seemed more important than having too much room around the tummy area. Well, I needn't have worried. The length was perfect and, because of the stretch, the rest of it wasn't too loose. I bought two of these and alternated between when one needed to be washed. Truly a great investment.

Comfy
Easy to put on. Soft material. Covera what it needs too. Easy access for bathroom with the velcro for the leg part. My girl just got spayed today 115lb great dane and the 2x fits well and she doesn't seem to mind it. Much more convenient than the Cone for our apartment.

A recommander!

Surgical cover
Easy to put on. But after a few scratching the suit riped on the side.

Best Purchase Ever Made!
Bought this for my Coton de Tulear’s post-spaying healing use. The suit allows my dog to be as normal as possible without having to deal with the cone. I keep the back up so that she can do her business. With the suit on, she doesn’t even try to lick her incision. She did when we took it off once to let her relax from the suit for a while. At first we thought the suit is not big enough for her. But it is really stretchy and not as difficult to put on as we initially thought. SL is the perfect size for her (following the size chart guidelines). Out of all the purchases I have made over the past 6 months since we welcomed the puppy home, this is the best purchase I have ever made. What a relief knowing that her incision is well protected! She moves freely in the suit and the pink suit looks cute on her too!

Excellent product but not a collar replacement
Great but your dog may feel invincible so watch closely and use collar as well to calm your dog down.

LOVE this. So glad I bought it!
The media could not be loaded. I ordered the medium long for my American Cocker Spaniel and it fit perfectly! My male puppy was just neutered and he could still reach the incision with the cone. This fit so well and when I could watch him I folded it up so that the would could heal.
