I was hesitant, thinking the quality may not deliver when installed. Those fears were misfounded. These things are suprisingly strong and install was a breeze. Once installed, my mother in law had newfound confidence in her ability to safely get up out of her chair. She suffers from arthritis and standing up out of bed or a recliner has been problematic. But she is doing it! Great product!

Five stars. Only issue before my review: The grab bar part can be a little slippery with wet hands, especially if you use shower lotion. I masked the rest of the pole and applied a few coats of Plasti Dip white rubber spray coating to the bar and problem solved. @Stander, put a textured. non-slip surface on the grab bar. Installed this in a rental with textured plastic tiles that won't hold suction cups and a landlord that won't install a permanent grab bar. The parts are marked and instructions are clear so it was quick and easy to assemble and install. Required tools are included but having a level would help. Once installed and tightened up it wouldn't budget with normal usage. Perfect for help getting in and out of a bathtub. Must install on a solid, flat surface and flat ceiling. Won't work on cathedral ceiling. Would probably work inside a shower with a solid tile floor and possibly a steel tub with a *flat* surface, but not inside a curved tub or plastic tub or shower.

I bought this for my dad after he had a stroke to help him get out of his recliner chair and stand to transfer to his wheel chair. He also uses it for his therapy sessions. His room has a 10 ft ceiling so I had to contact the manufacturer to buy a longer section to reach the ceiling for a secure support. The original parts were about 2 inches too short. The steel poll sections are very strong and the H section at the top has rubber covers on the ends for grip and provide a firm broad base to hold everything in place. The top H also has screws to secure it to the rafters in the ceiling. The floor section has a rubber gasket that grips the floor or carpet to prevent it from sliding. The center has a large threaded section to tighten the poll assembly between the ceiling and the floor. A wrench is included. It is very rigid and secure. The Wonder Pole Lite has given my dad a new sense of freedom now that he can securely pull himself up without the fear of falling. I highly recommend this product for anyone that has balance or mobility problems. The nurses alway tease him about having a dance poll in his room and he replies the he just wants to be prepared in case someone comes by.

Wow! This is a game changer for an 87 year old woman with mobility disabilities. Excellent stability to move around in the restroom from entry point, to toilet, to sink area. Hopefully no more falls with this double handle grab bar pole. Should have bought this long ago. It could be utilized in alot of places, but the bathroom was our needed spot. The manual says to not place it close to a wall. News for them, that's where we needed it at a door entry way to prevent falls while going into the bathroom.

My wife and myself are over 70, this helps getting in n out of the tub. Adds safety to our cleaning routine. My wife is very happy with it.

Worked out well for my mom as she was recovering from a fractured elbow. Easy to install and take down.

Excellent device for assisted living. They Caution against placing it too close to anything else (walls, beds, etc. to avoid getting stuck but I put mine right next to the bed and it is a godsend! I have been having a lot of trouble getting in and out of bed. This helps a lot! Assembly was pretty straightforward though I needed help from my aide because I can't stand up. It seems very sold and secure. I have another coming for the bathroom.

This was super easy to install even for me who has no skills. We got it for after knee replacement surgery but decided to keep it up anyway. Getting old no fun but if I'm gonna fall I'd rather it not be in the bathroom y'know?

This is probably the best thing on the market for elderly or disabled people to navigate with bathtubs/toilets. It even comes with a sizeable wrench and very straightforward installation. Looked at over the tub designs and just seemed like a looming disaster compared to this product

Very easy to fit and does its job perfectly.

No issues, Easy to assemble and set up. Remains sturdy and has never shifted. A little pricey but worth it for the safety and feeling of security it provides.
