Review: Beautiful Book About Ralph Lauren - I came to appreciate Ralph Lauren later in life. As a young man, I always felt his designs were too preppy and over the top. Then, I began to buy some of his vintage pieces and started decorating my home in the Ralph Lauren style which made me buy this book. There are great photos in it that gave me inspiration and you also learn about Ralph's journey in fashion and design that made him the legendary icon we all know today. I still wont wear a shirt with a polo player on it but I'll throw on a vintage tweed and purple jeans on a brisk fall day.
