The box states these are for kids. I tried them on and they were painfully tight. I am an adult with a smaller than average head size, usually wearing a child's extra large. They block out a ton of noise, are really comfortable and can be adjusted to fit both me and my son. I'm 37, 5'8" and 135 lbs. He is 5'2" and 105 lbs. They work well and are sturdy and durable. I bought others from Amazon and paid maybe $5 strictly to get him a pair that looked a little more "cool" to wear around his peers at school. He thinks they're awesome.
