I like to mix my own trail mix because so many premade brands come with an overload of cranberries. I purchased this to add sweetness to my mix and it didn't disappoint. The bag is HUGE, so it's definitely worth the price. These diced papaya are the perfect size and sweetness.

Such great taste for snacking I will return for more! Really good in banana bread too.

Personally, I always try to buy my dried fruit without additional sugar. Fruit has sugar enough already, it doesn't need any more. However, I recognize that many people particularly enjoy the sugar-coated cubes, and so I purchased this for the family, particularly so my mother could try adding some to her Museli or breakfast cereal. Personally, they are too sweet. I think these would be great without the added sugar, but with the extra they are one step off of candied. The papaya flavor is still quite good though, still quite natural, and the texture is quite consistent, having only a little fiber to it. It does go well in cereal and museli, and imparts a strong tropical influence to it, which is quite nice. I like it better as an accent than as a snack. So I would say - not a very natural variety of dried papaya, but still quite tasty. You get a decent amount for what you pay, and a bag will likely last you a couple weeks to a month at normal levels of consumption If you like sweetened dried fruit, would recommend.

Superfood fresh yummy snack. My family and I love them. I give them to my granddaughter mixed with walnuts. She absolutely loves it and always asks for more. Much better than candy and chips!!

I bought the 2.2 lb bag of fresh papaya for my Double Yellow Amazon parrot. The size chunks were perfect and the papaya fresh. Don’t spend your money at a pet supply shop which will only sell you 8 oz. This will last a long time.

I was REALLY hoping this would be organic WITHOUT synthetic preservatives. Not the case. Instead of Sulfites it has Calcium Chloride, which is MUCH WORSE! It's also WAY TOO SUGARY! MY GOD I got immediate heartburn from it! If you like your dried fruit to taste like candy, then you will love it! But I want PURE DEHYDRATED FRUITS (WITHOUT sugars and preservatives)! Not available in the USA now! I guess they HAVE to preserve them since they all come from Thailand and Americans don't make a dang thing anymore. They only DISTRIBUTE the hard work of others. Pretty sad actually. Just try to find "Dehydrated/DICED/Papaya (or Mango) without sugar, citric acid and preservatives". You won't find it. It's so disappointing. One thing that IS GOOD is that this bag is HUGE!!! (But like EVERYTHING ELSE in America today - only half full... You still get a lot of fruit/candy! Picture doesn't LOOK that big, but it is!)
