Great Thanksgiving Book
I bought this book to read to my granddaughter during the Thanksgiving season. This year she was 11 months old and enjoyed it. I plan to have it out next November as well because I believe she will still enjoy it. The pictures are bright and beautiful.

It is perfect for those who are infant-aged because it is great ...
As a homeschooling mother, I have really been enjoying the book "One Big Turkey," by Anne Vittur Kennedy this autumn season. It is perfect for those who are infant-aged because it is great size for their hands to hold. The vivid color really interest their eyes. Since it is a board book, it is very durable for the toddlers to bring throughout the home with them.who are preschooled age will enjoy counting the various food and animals throughout the book. I like how each page includes the numerical number of animals as well as spelling out each number so that the children can relate the two. It is even a great book for those who are learning to read - with simple and short sentences. My favorite part about this book is the pictures. Each illustration shows characters full of such joy and contentment. The colors are vivid and the illustrations are unique. I enjoy really taking in each page.I received this book through [...]. It is a real treat for me and my family to be able to enjoy such a delightful book. Thank you!

happy book about Fall
“One Big Turkey” written and illustrated by Anne Vittur KennedyIf you’re looking for a vibrant, colorful, happy book about Fall, this is the book for you. The cardboard pages, cut out in the shape of a turkey, are sure to grab kids’ attention. Not only is this a storybook, it’s also a counting book. One page one the reader is introduced to one turkey and one squirrel. One page two, two hungry deer come out to play. On page three, three little mice enjoy some berries, and on it goes until page 10.The turkey and squirrel appear throughout the book as an engaging seek-and-find for kids. The words on the pages rhyme, creating a musical story for children to easily grasp and enjoy. The end of the story closes with a bedtime prayer. This book is most appropriate for kids ages 0-4. The message is clear, and the illustrations are engaging.I recommend this book to others.[...]The publisher has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book through BookSneeze®. I was not required to write a positive review.

Let's give thanks!
Each page of this adorable board book is a new number, counting from 1 to 10. Each with beautifully illustrated fall colors. All the animals are so cute. There are deer, squirrels and, of course, 1 big turkey. My favorite is the last page, which gives thanks. Thanks to our God,we pray before we rest.Food, friends, and family-goodness, we are blessed! One Big Turkey is a fully hard board book. The shape of the book, on the right hand side is the shape of a turkeys feathers. Too cute. The front also has a textured feel to it.I was sent this book in exchange for my honest review

Great fall book!
One Big Turkey is a Thanksgiving book, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start reading it to your children now. This book is perfect for any child birth-3 (even 4) years old. The book focuses on counting. Throughout the book you and your child will count: turkeys, squirrels. deer, mice, nuts, corn, apples, pumpkins, and other fall related items. A turkey is on every page, so this book could also be a seek and find for little ones. One Big Turkey is one of the few children’s Christian books that I have read that doesn’t have any forced (awkward) rhymes. Each rhyming page actually makes sense and flows with the story. The illustrations are realistic and beautiful. At the end of the book, you will remind your child to give thanks to God, which is certainly the most important part of the story.I wave given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Adorable Rhyming Tale That Celebrates Autumn
This board book is very reminiscent of Anne Vittur Kennedy's "One Spring Lamb" in that it offers precious rhyming prose to share the many wonders of the season. Deer are nibbling on bright red apples from a tree, pumpkins are growing in the patch, and the colorful leaves are falling. My son loves counting things, so he enjoys giving me a great demonstration of his awesome number skills while reading this . There are colorful illustrations throughout that include plenty of woodlands creatures. It's the perfect little book for young children who are just learning how to count. Even the skilled little counting champs out there will enjoy this adorable rhyming tale that celebrates autumn, Thanksgiving, and the many blessings God provides during this time of the year. I received a complimentary book to read, however all views and opinions here are unbiased and purely those of my own.

And one thing for sure- more time to read. One Big Turkey is the book for kids….Oh, what a gorgeous cover it has: the golden letters and some leaves outlines makes it a very beautiful book to give as a gift. Wow! I almost forgot, the story inside contains numbers and short rhymes which will be pleasing to many kids’ ears. Count your blessing with easy-to-follow lines to learn the numbers. Great for the toddlers and the first-graders.
