Solid quality.
Quality rubber that provides thickness for ease of carving without worrying about your stamp having rough edges or inconsistency. All are the same thickness and density so there’s no need to change techniques because all your details allow for a quality appearance. They are a great size that allows for large and small stamps without running out of space for design. Flexible performance that always delivers each detail every time. You get a lot of product with endless possibilities for a great price. The quality is far above the price. Absolutely worth every penny. Get creative with these and enjoy the well spent time and money.

Cheap and works great for my purposes!
Super easy to to carve and printed great on both fabric and paper. Used oil-based inks, and the block took the ink like a champ and printed very evenly. The integrity of the lines held up great after 50+ pressings. I did hand print the block only, so I can't speak to how well it would work in an etching press. The surface of the block had a weird almost oily look to it, and I worried this would show up in the prints, but it was not an issue at all. For being called "poor quality", it seemed to be great quality to me! Only thing that made it tough to work with is that it's almost too easy to carve after working exclusively on the battleship gray stuff for so long. I did make some mistakes while carving, but a little PVA glue on the miscarved piece did the trick.

Move Over, SB Speedy Carve
I bought this lino on a whim; I usually use the pink Speedball lino but this was cheap and I i was curious. I’m really really impressed with this lino and it’s become my go-to lately. It carves very easily and lets you get just as detailed as the SB Speedy Carve. It’s very good for beginners and excellent for those interested in making “stamps” as opposed to traditional block prints. What’s impressed me is how good it is at holding ink: when I’m testing a cut I’ll use a cheap watercolor marker (think generic Tombows) and this lino allows for wonderful prints. All pics I’ve included are using watercolor markers. It also cleans up easily with dish soap and can be mounted to wooden blocks using gorilla glue just fine. I’m in love! A big caveat, though: this is definitely more comparable to SB Speedy Carve, not to SB’s golden or Richeson battleship. It’s not as firm as the golden or battleship and, as a result, cannot be easily used for incredibly detailed work.

good stuff for the price
good rubber for stamp reliefs, good texture, good density, good pliability - not stretchy

Excellent product
I think someone is hacking this listing. Why would you list something as poor quality, even if it was? I trusted the reviews and decided to take a chance. This stuff is wonderful. It carves and prints beautifully. I don't carve deep enough for most prints to really take advantage of the green interior (maybe a hint of green shows) so I paint a thin layer of cheap acrylic paint on the surface, otherwise it's impossible to tell on the white surface where I've carved and where i haven't, but that's a good practice anyway and it washes right off once my block is carved. This stuff carves like butter, doesn't crumble, and prints beautifully. I've printed using Akua, regular Speedball block printing ink, and Golden Open Acrylics and all three printed beautifully with these blocks. I wish they came in larger sizes, I'd have no need to ever buy the expensive stuff again. I received my order 2 days ago and I'm already reordering. DEAR MANUFACTURER: Please make this product available in larger sizes for large printmaking!

Easy to use- nice price point
Ordered these after using a more expensive name brand product. These got the job done, and the green core is an added bonus. The green core provides a point of reference on how deep you have cut, this I found to be very helpful when carving. Not sure if I would carve on the opposite side of a carved piece, although it could be possible- I do not think that weight distribution would allow for a clean printing. But potentially, you could carve a double- sided stamp. Lots of fun to get the creative juices flowing. Block printing is a new hobby of mine, and I will most likely order these again. Its also important to note the size, these are ver easy to cut to size! Very nice.

It works! -(see photos)
I was a little hesitant trying a medium sized piece (the Boston terrier) on this rubber for the first time, because I wasn't sure if it would end up being a HUGE waste of invested time. Actually, I'm pretty happy with my piece. The rubber itself is a little thicker than speedball, a little stiffer, little less flexible, and just a little bit less "buttery" to carve. The betta fish is a stamp I carved with speedball. With speedball, even with my most basic/cheap tools, I was able to get fine details. For Amazon's product, it was harder to achieve fine details with those same tools. I also feel like the ink sits a bit differently on this one, verses the speedball. I use an archival ink pad, and it stains my speedball carvings a deep black. Not that that matters so much, just included some differences I noticed. Do I recommend this product? Honestly- YES, I do. You get 8 pieces, which are great for practice or creating on a budget. It prints, as you can see, and its a completely usable lino. Get it for your kids, students, yourself, friends, family, anyone and everyone! Speedball is SO expensive, and limiting if you're on a budget. Get some of these and have some fun :) EDIT- I tried a second print, this time with an ink tube and roller from speedball, instead of a flat ink pad. I also used paper for printmaking, and the ink transfer is much darker this time. So in conclusion, the ink, paper, and carving tools MATTER

Scam
Don't buy this! It took forever to get here and when it did arrive it only had one piece in it. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Would give it 0 stars if I could.
