How do you assemble the poms? I didn't receive any directions.

Not sure, so I did my own thing. I tied the string around the middle, folded it in half, and they opened it up like a fan. Then, I taped it together so it was a circle. I know it’s supposed to be more like a Pom Pom, but wasn’t sure, and didn’t have enough time to figure it out.

Do the poms hang from a string?

Yes. There is a small string for hanging. I used it to tape it to walls and cupboards because the ribbon is really short. If you want to hang from other places you'll have to add your own.
