Focus makes good stuff but this one locks on the trigger guard. there is no happy spot. it is either too tight or too loose. Find another carriage for you 1911.

The photo is for the larger holster (C-21), not the C21B compact model that's in the listing title and description.This is confusing, but I received the C21B that I wanted.Quality and function are excellent as with all other Fobus holsters I've owned.I ordered hoping it would fit my new Remington R51 (not specifically identified in the Amazon listing). Not only does it fit perfectly, but the factory packaging now indicates Remington R51 on the fitment list.Lightweight, sturdy, good (& adjustable) retention, holds very close to the body - all at an affordable price.

The design and fit of Fobus holsters are unique. The concealment fit is the major reason to buy the C21B. I was informed before I purchased this item that it was not designed for the KelTec PF9. I decided to buy after blogging for reviews and found it to be a popular fit for my carry gun. Because of price, quality and the designed adjustment screw it's a holster that belongs in your arsenal. The high ride design and cant is ideal for conceal carry and confort fit. I would recommend this holster and other Fobus products for the reasons mentioned above.

I know the other reviews say this fits a PF-9 great. Maybe something was wrong with mine, but I'll say it doesn't. I had to loosen the tension screw quite a bit to get the gun in and out, at which point the gun just sort of wedged into the holster. With other Fobus holsters I'm used to a solid "click" that indicates the gun is fully holstered. This one has no detent or click. I ordered a Fobus SG239 instead and it fits the PF-9 perfectly with the detent indicating the gun is in all the way and isn't accidentally coming out.

This holster is supposed to fit the Kahr P9. The pistol is retained by a pinching groove that is supposed to grip the front of the trigger guard. In order to grip that part of the trigger guard you have to loosen the tensioning screw to the point that it will fall out. It does not work. I went to the Fobus web store and ordered another holster (different model) for the Kahr P9 and the same thing happened. I have another Fobus holster (for a Glock) and I like them but these two did not fit the Kahr P9.

THIS HOLSTER IS NICE IF YOU LIKE TO DISPLAY YOUR 1911. IT HOLDS THE PISTOL VERY TIGHT AND LETS YOU SHOW OFF YOUR SHOW PIECE. THE TIGHTNESS OF THE HOLSTER IS ADJUSTABLE S IT CAN BE A HARD PULL OR VERY SMOOTH AND EASY. THIS IS A VERY NICE HOLSTER FOR THE MONEY. ITS CHEAPER AND BETTER QUALITY THAN THE UNCLE MIKES. I HAVE NO REGRETS WITH THIS PURCHASE.

I have used Fobus holsters before for other handguns. There is no match for the Kahr P40, and per the Fobus website this 'universal' type one is recommended.Well, it is way too small to fit the P40. If you unscrew the retention screw all the way, you can jam it in, but then there is a big gap in the kydex material. It is simply not molded to fit it well.I have heard folks mention that you can heat it up and then 'make' it fit, etc. That doesn't sound right. So I returned it. The Glock 26/27 and 23 sizes of holsters fit those handguns perfectly right out of the package. So if Fobus would just make a holster to specifically fit the Kahrs it would work better. The build quality is good nonetheless.

The photo shows a standard sized holster but the description lists a compact. Very confusing as no size given for the actual firearm receptacle was provided. Very misleading and I returned the product.
