Retrospec Bicycles Detachable Steel Half-Mesh Apollo Bike Basket with Handles

This basket is brilliant and looks great on my bike! It is very well made and sturdy. The ‘shopping basket’ is easily detached for easy usage for use in a store, it fixes back on the bike quickly and securely. Shipping and delivery was quick and efficient.

I was thrilled when this arrived. I do a lot of biking especially to and from gym. Carrying a backpack on the handle bars is cumbersome and not very safe. The basket comes out of the box ready to use. There weren’t any instructions but I soon saw that any 7 year old could hook it on. I did so in less than a minute and I was ready to go. The basket comes right off to use as a grocery carrier or beach gear. Because it’s so incredible I run my lock chain through it so it can’t be snatched. A really solid product for a very reasonable price.

I really like this basket. It fit easily on my Aniioki ebike and another different ebike that I own, even though the companies do not sell their own front basket. The basket is sturdy and well designed. Once you get the support bracket installed, to remove the basket for shopping or some other purpose all you have to do is to lift up the handles so that they are vertical and then the basket will lift right off the support bracket. Replacement of the basket is just as easy. A great design and well executed.

Basket was just as described. The only issue I had was with the strap that attaches to the bike it broke within n a week , but fixed with duct tape and seems to be holding well . Strong enough for my grocery runs . Would buy again

It was easy to install and feels pretty sturdy with my little 18 pound dog inside! He doesn’t shake around while I’m riding. The color is also great!

The media could not be loaded.  I have ordered and return a handful of baskets. I have two bikes and have had one on an older bike that has worked well, but will occasionally tip downward of the basket is too full. It also sits on a plastic quick release that I am always afraid it will break in the middle of the ride.My new bike has much wider bars so finding something that would fit was the first priority. Started with trying the same basket I already used. Didn’t fit. Ordered another, still didn’t fit but I could modify it and it would sit at a tilt. Ended up using two different front bags and couldn’t stand them.THIS BASKET…. I love everything g about it! At first I couldn’t figure out how to get basket on holder. I set it down and figured I would be returning it. I in fact went to do a return and looked at the video. You load the basket by holding the handles up. Boy did I feel silly! Took minutes to install and feels so sturdy! I am ready to order this for my other bike now too just because of how sturdy it feels.
