I originally bought a rotary polisher but decided it would be too aggressive. After doing research I decided to go for a dual action polisher, which greatly reduces the chance of ruining the paintwork. The dual action polishers are more forgiving and don’t build heat as quick as the rotaries. This DA polisher is great value for money. The weight is good, and it feels pretty sturdy despite my reservations. It includes loads of accessories, polisher pads, bonnets, spare motor bushes, and different handles depending on your preference. This is a great polisher for a less experienced DIY’r, but also delivers great results. It’s quiet. I was worried it would be too loud as I wanted to use it in the evening in a garage, but it’s very quiet. It has various speed settings, which are easy to change and move between. This is a good polisher for doing some light scratch removal, plus all stages of polish/wax, finisher etc. it’s not going to perform like a professional rotary polisher, but with that comes the reassurance that you would have to try really hard to do any damage.

This dual action polisher is fantastic value for money. Powerful enough to remove light scratches and swirls but gentle enough for beginners. The 6 variable speeds give great control and the D-handle makes it comfortable to use. Comes with loads of pads and the whole kit feels well made. My car paintwork looks like new. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to detail their car at home.

I haven't had chance to properly put this to work yet but from the quick blast I've given it, especially when on sale, I don't think you'll find a better quality, better made DA polisher for the price. I went for the corded polisher as I want to be able to get a car cut/polished and waxed in the same day without needing to swap 4 batteries. If you only want to give the car a quick wax then the cordless model is probably great and you'll likely get it done on one battery. Just the build quality alone is excellent, feels heavy, solid and powerful which is essential when you want the polisher to do all the work without needing to apply pressure. It's quite noisy at higher revs but nothing excessive compared to other similar polishers. I can't comment on the quality and durability of the supplied pads but when they are basically included FOC as a package... If they do the job, that's all you can ask for and I won't complain if they fall apart after a couple of uses. The speed control settings cover all bases and the pads are universal fitment to enable you to buy replacements (I bought a 3 inch disc for small details and curves). I could babble on but you're reading this because you want to know if this is a good polisher for the price... And yes it is, almost faultless at this price, to be honest. If you want something genuinely a proper level up from this you'll have to spend the best part of a couple of hundred quid. Just a bit of consumer advice on car polishers... Most polishers you'll see on Amazon are rebranded generic Chinese made polishers. More 'premium' and very highly rated polishers such as the DAS-6 Pro which cost 2X the price of this, likewise the Draper 'Stormforce' polisher at 50% more than this one... When you pay very close attention to the design, details and specs, it becomes obvious that they are almost identical and almost certainly made by the same Chinese manufacturer in the same factory, with cosmetic tweaks and branding. Armed with that information you can rest easy knowing that you're getting a great product here at a low price. Be aware of very powerful 'polishers' with high speeds as these are very often just repurposed rotary sanding machines, not purpose designed car polishers. 'Higher specs' on paper is not always better.

This polisher is an excellent option for beginners or DIY detailers. It comes with a generous selection of pads and is really easy to handle, even if you’re new to machine polishing. While it's a bit on the noisy side, that’s understandable given the price point. The dual action motion adds a layer of safety, reducing the risk of damaging your paint. Overall, a solid, budget-friendly tool that delivers great results.

I bought this GINOUR Dual Action polishing machine just recently and put it to work over this past weekend. Well, it is truly a well-built machine. It is sturdy, the casing materials are high quality plastics and metal, the backplate is top spec and above all, the electric motor can work continuously for a long time without overheating that much. At speed levels 1, 2 and 3 the noise is very similar to a cake hand mixer, not too bad. It does not vibrate that much either, at least at the lower half of available speed stages 1-6. I did not try higher speeds, as I did not need them. The machine comes with a very reasonable quality zipped bag and two handles, a spanner, two extra bushes, 5 foam disks and 1 wool pad. It is on the "heavy" side, but that is due to the 900W motor inside. However, for bonnet, roof and boot lid work, it benefits the level of steadiness polishing the surface. Given the overall quality, I would say the little extra weight is a small compromise. Better a little more weight but getting a decent electric motor. Recommended. Obviously.
