Fox Point Seasoning By Penzeys Spices (5.2 ounces)

Recommended by a friend who uses it on meat, fish and eggs. Lots of flavor without overwhelming the dish, very versatile! Good on vegetables and rice and in soups too!

Fox Point is the most flavorful, versatile spice I've run across in a long while. I use it with mild white vinegar and avocado oil over spring greens, red onion and persimmon to make my favorite salad, I use it for baked chicken, seared or baked fish, or really anything I can think of because it's so delicious. The mild combination of garlic, onion and chives, goes with everything. It also seasons cooked/sautéed vegetables beautifully.It's pricey, certainly not cheap, but SO worth it.

I've been using Fox Point for several years...and have run out. I checked with Penzeys on-line and they weren't showing it on their website. I was so happy to see Amazon had it, so ordered a large jar.

When I saw I could order Penzy’s spices with Amazon and get them next day- I was so happy!!! Living in Wisconsin it was the only spices I used. The local Penzy’s store close to my home in Arizona is an hour away/the deliver time when ordering online is a few days - so I go without until I need to buy several spices. Fox Point is one of my favorites. The only downside to ordering from Amazon is not receiving the fun items that come with the spices when ordering from/buying in store from Penzy’s (like the letter from the owner - he’s a character but very loved). Thank you.

The bottle arrived with the lid broken, since I had several different empty bottles I was able to just swap the lid. The spice itself (Foxpoint) is one of my favorites that I had been out of for some time since the closest Penzy's is over 60 miles away. I will be ordering some other spices soon.

The combination of flavors is like no other spice in my cabinet. Shallots, chives, garlic, black peppercorns but they add up in the way Penzeys combines them to a completely unique and versatile seasoning. I use it on everything--in yogurt, on open-faced sandwiches, with fish and chicken in the oven. And here's the other thing--sometimes I use a pinch of it in my hand for aromatherapy. The fragrance is so beautiful and soothing. I don't know where Fox Pointe is, and I've never been to France, but the fragrance of this seasoning is like a mini-vacation.

This is a very good product. However, the shipping cost is very high! Not a prime product! Should be!
