130-Lumen Weather Resistant Optic Lens LED Flashlight with Nylon Lanyard and Strobe Setting, Black (41-4280)

Bright light, solid construction, but internals are iffy. The reason I say that is because after using it <10 times, the on/off switch slipped out of position inside the back end of the housing. It's only pressed in, apparently. After trying to simply press it back in place and failing, I used a couple drops of CA glue to keep it in place. I'm not fond of using CA glue with plastic, but I think it will work fine since there's not much load on the joint. Nothing else inside broke, but the other parts (spring, cap, battery holder, etc.) weren't the kind of quality I was expecting at this price point. I hope the rest of the light keeps working, as I like the brightness and the adjustable beam. Switch problems bring it down a star, and iffy internals knock it down another star... but if there was a 3.5 star rating, I'd probably go with that.

I had to put scotch tape on the switch assembly inside because the switch kept pushing through. There should be a C clip or O ring or something to hold the switch in place. Otherwise, I would have given a higher rating. I like the brightness and the ability to adjust the beam width. Also, the large part of the strap came apart the second day I used it.

Batteries were dead out of package , battery holder marked WRONG , , arrows showed ALL plus pointing , up ,,, one should be pointing down , ( I have 4 Of the same model FROM DORCY ) , IS this one a knock-off ?

Great bulb but poor switch. After just a couple of weeks, my switch moved out of place and wouldn't turn on. I took it apart and reset it and it was fine for a week. Then it moved out of place again. From then on it would only stay in place for a couple of on/offs. Last time I tried to re-set it while I was walking my dog. Lost a part of the switch. Will try customer support.

The beam of light is not as bright as I would like and it doesn't have a great deal of coverage.

Plenty bright. Only thing that is a little bit of a complaint is that every time you turn it on, it goes to the next mode. (i.e. bright, dim, flash) Most lights like this "remember" if you just clicked it. For instance. If you turn it on, then off. Then turn it on 2 hours later, it goes to dim. Most lights will stay on the same setting if the on/off action is more than a minute or so from the last. Not a huge deal - but I find myself clicking this light a lot compare to my others with similar features.

The quality seemed great at first, but the switch is completely broken. When you push it in, the entire bottom caves in. I've taken it apart and put it back together to no avail. It seems like a good little light if it wasn't broken, but it is, so it's worthless. I will try their customer support line.

Wasn't sure how well this little fella was going to do at this price point but I tell ya what, you'll pay a lot more for a top name light to get this full-featured a torch.It's tail-cap operated with 3 light settings, strobe and an adjustable lens for tightening up or spreading for use as a flood. For less than $15 bucks? This light is a great value.Perfect for the nightstand, car, truck, camping or a bug out bag. At this affordable price, you can stock up on them. Simple AAA batteries keep you going - no exotic batteries to search around for.Christmas is around the corner. Be a hero and gift a loved one this Dorcy light. They'll thank you later.

Great flashlight with a lot of utility. The adjustable lens is easy to use and is useful, but at the same time it's not "too" easy to move around which helps from accidental events. Unfortunately the once that I had took a bit of a hard hit and now it doesn't work quite properly, which is a bit concerning considering I bought this flashlight for it's weather resistance, I guess hard hits doesn't fall under that category.

I had the misfortune of getting a faulty one but still find this particular item a fantastic product. I bought another.
