Amazing product, amazing coverage.
I found exactly what I was looking for! I do a lot of walking after lunch in the scorching Texas summer. A regular umbrella just didn't work for me—not only did it offer insufficient coverage, but on windy days, it kept flipping over. I discovered the G4Free 47/54/62/68 Inch UV Protection Golf Umbrella, and it is AMAZING! Believe it or not, the temperature underneath feels cooler, and even in strong winds, it stays put. I even tested it by facing it against the wind to see if it would flip, and I felt like I could be lifted away like the Flying Nun! This umbrella is very sturdy, form-fitting, and provides full coverage, so I don't have to worry about the sun's UV rays, thanks to its UPF 50+ UV protection. It’s definitely a must-have!

A great quality umbrella with very good construction that should last a long time!
I'll try to update this review many months from now with a follow up but so far, very good!Coincidently enough, this arrived on a rain-all-day kinda day. I only wish it was a few hours earlier when I had to stand outside during my daughter's soccer game in a downpour - I REALLY needed it then. But alas, it rained all day so decent testing was still done with some fair 15Mph winds. So far, I love the umbrella. It had a very minimal "plastic/chemical" odor, but it was not obvious or overpowering...I only smelled it when I tried to get close...which is odd by itself...why am I smelling my new umbrella??? Oh, because some reviews mentioned it, that's why. Real talk, it was very minimal and barely noticeable up close...not at all out in the wild.Build quality - seems to be on the stronger side. Everything feels firm and of quality construction. The support structure, fabric, and handle all feel solid. I like the double strap design and the cover is a nice bonus. It opens fast and closing is still very easy, even though that part isn't button actuated.Water resistance - yep - didn't get wet...no tears in the fabric; the water rolled off and dried off quickly in just a few minutes.Size - 68" is very comfortable and can keep 2-3 people (walking) and 3-4 (standing) covered very well.Weight - standard or low for the size it covers.Balance - since its the model I bought (68") is a bit on the bigger side, it requires a little more effort to keep it in a good position to cover more than one person, but overall feels just fine. But that's just something you have to expect with a 68" size - the larger sail you have, the more you'll have to handle it in the wind. However, the good build quality made it feel like it was never going to give way or break.Wind resistance - the built-in vents did a very good job keeping the umbrella from trying to invert itself or fly away. I feel like the construction would require 45+ Mph winds to possibly damage it, and in that case, why are you even outside? It feels sturdy and strong enough to withstand a storm you'd be willing to stand in.UV protection - yet to be determined, but I can tell by the fabric and material construction choice it's VERY likely to do great. The reflective texture and solid barrier should give the sun a good fight!Overall, I'm very happy with the product built by G4Free so far. Very well done!

Perhaps the best umbrella/parasol I've ever had
This umbrella is AWESOME. The construction is excellent and appears durable. Non-metallic shaft, etc., eases that worry about attracting lightning when it rains! The reflective exterior makes it a high-tech parasol to prevent burns in blazing sun. The size options give you enough to just keep your head dry or cover an entire, small family. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Great for keeping cool. Strong, but not indestructible.
Great for hiking, as we live in a high UV environment, and anywhere you need portable shade. Can get a bit heavy, on hikes, particularly if it's windy, but I consider that part of the exercise. Strong but not indestructible. My original one survived about 5 years of occasional use but broke 3 ribs when blown off a table...and keep away from the broken rib ends as they are full of small splinters which are hard to both see, and remove. So not indestructible, but I liked it enough to come back for another; hope this lasts as well. Got a green one, second time around, which looks good on the inside, but other people will mainly notice the silvered outside.SMELL: Yes, this latest one DID SMELL TERRIBLE, as received, BUT that was EASILY CURED by tethering it outside in the sun for a couple of days, with no smell issues since.

Expensive but worth it.
This is very sturdy, kind of heavy, but the shade is really good. The shade is wide and you can easily feel the temperature change. I don't plan on using this for rain, only for Sun when we go to the public gardens or someplace hot and sunny. We have a UV umbrella we picked up from Taiwan (about $4 US), it is cheap and flimsy compared to this.

I have multiple sizes! Love these umbrellas they are not only heavy duty material thickness but the design allows me to find shade and comfort in many places in the hot desert sun. Highly recommend for great shade protection. This umbrella operates great.

It works as promised.
This parasol/umbrella is a gem. It is well- designed and well-constructed, and keeps the dangerous UV radiation off one's body.I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't relish the idea of getting burned by the sun. If it can block the sun's rays and heat in the American southwest, it can function as promised in the ad at AMAZON.com. I'd buy it again.

Amazing umbrella, well worth the purchase
I purchased this umbrella as part of a bundle (62 and 68 inches), so I got a great deal with this purchase. This umbrella is amazing and well worth the purchase. It is sturdy and a little weighty, but it is a golf umbrella, so that is not surprising, but I'd imagine I'd have to use both hands to steady it in windy weather. But the functionality cannot be beat! It easy to open, easy to close, and really repels heat! I live in Florida and I tried in in 90+ degrees of humid weather, and I swear that it left 10 degrees cooler when I was under it. This umbrella is wide enough to cover 2 adults (or 2 adults and 1 kid/pet).I have already recommended it to my neighbors, as well as a couple of strangers who saw me using it while out and about. I have also purchased a travel size version to compare that to this purchase.
