We needed something for “career day” for TK and my little girl wanted to be an astronaut — thank god for Amazon and quick shipping! Based on the description of the product and comments about sizing, I ordered the XXL (recommended for 6Y, my daughter wears 6/6X clothes and is very tall for her age). However, it was EXTREMELY large for her — she was swimming in it. Because of the free returns and quick shipping I was able to order the L and XL with enough time, and my daughter actually fit the L best. As you can see from the image, there was still room in it but is wasn’t like a potato sack anymore. There isn’t much stretch to the fabric, but that wasn’t an issue because of the fit/style. My daughter was so happy and excited about this costume and her younger sister was jealous because she now wants her own. With the price, I may just have to get her one, too! Reviews said order up, I ordered a large. It was way too short. Being a one piece caused issues. So we returned and ordered this one sized XL. We could barely tell a difference in the size.It’s really unfortunate because it is cute.He still loves it but doesn’t wear it as much because I can imagine it’s a little uncomfortable.It’s not very thick, you’d want to wear something under it if wearing it out of the house or trick or treating. The white is slightly see-thru.
