Oléico High Oleic Safflower Oil 32 Fl Oz (Bottle)

I'm not sure why there seems to be a shortage, but I'm glad I gave this stuff a try. I'll be buying this instead of Saffola from now on. Virtually tasteless and odorless, with all the flavor and health benefits you look for in a high smokepoint cooking oil. And the lid/top/spout Oleico uses on these bottles is the smartest top I've ever seen on a cooking oil container. No drips, no dribbles, no seeping. The outside of the bottle stays clean!

Safflower oil is one of the few oils for high heat cooking. It’s smoke point temperature is 440-450 allowing a higher seer temperature which is desirable for a lot of meats such as steak and seafood. This brand doesn’t have a strong flavor or greasy taste or feel in your mouth. It is difficult to find in grocery stores and I’ve found this brand is a good quality and reasonable price.

Love safflower oil. Best cooking oil (adds no taste), (nearly)Best overall fat content - compared to other oils, very high smoke point, very low freeze point (my favorite for pie crusts), vitamin E an extra plus. Nearly identical to sebum oil secreted by human skin - so "great" moisturizer (use small drops & spread as far as possible) I'm going to start buying in larger sizes.

I ordered this for a recipe that called for shallow frying, and I wanted to use a somewhat healthy oil. This arrived quickly and with no leaks. The flavor is clean, no funky smell present. Used on high heat with no smoking or burning. My recipe turned out great, beautiful golden brown and crispy. Would definitely recommend!

Great product. We use this as a supplement for our dogs, giving a teaspoon daily overtop their dry dog food. The vet suggested this years ago when my big dog's skin was so dry, and it's an amazing treatment! The cap on the bottle is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, and the oil consistently dribbles all over the bottle with each pour.

I bought it to use with oil paints but it contains added vitamin E, an anti-oxidant, which I didn't want, So, I use it for cooking and I like it a lot. Light texture, neutral taste, high smoke point. A little pricey hence the 4-star value rating but the quality of the product is good.

What can I say? It's oil. It came fast and undamaged. I can't find high oleic anything in the store so unfortunately had to buy it online. I don't know why high oleic is twice as much than regular vegetable oil but for my situation I had to have it. What else? It's slightly yellow with no odor. I'm not cooking with it so I can't help you on that. So yeah. Good stuff.

Excellent oil. Many uses. A good amount of oil for the price. Light, smooth and clean tasting. Will buy again. Satisfied customer.
