Mak Tok Authentic Gourmet Malaysian Hot Fire Chilli Paste, Fire Hot Sambal

Should someone drop off some bland food then a spoonful of this when re-heating in the microwave makes it all palatable again. I also use this as an emergency taste adder when the fridge is bare and I have had to forage behind the fridge or under the kitchen cupboards to find something to eat. This sambal doesn't disappoint as the word hot is justified unlike the three chillies symbol on supermarket food where one is compelled to complain to trading standards as it is no way hot enough. I suggest 1 spoonful siored in unless the boys from the boozer are coming over then stick two in to see which are the real hard men.

We’ve eaten lots of chilli products over the years but this is definitely one of the best. Comes with a nice card from Will thanking us for buying and some lovely recipe cards. We are on our third purchase now. Great in dishes, on the side, in a sandwich or my favourite spread a bit on a bit of extra mature cheddar cheese

Great product authentic taste

It's hot, but it's not exciting. This is a boring chutney - no good flavours of any kind. Just a boring hot sugar paste.

This is amazing, tastes great, low on salt and sugar compared to other brands, really good find for lovers of chilli!
