The PCOS Workbook: Your Guide to Complete Physical and Emotional Health

A must-read for anyone with PCOS
I was diagnosed with PCOS and told the only thing they could do was give me birth control pills to regulate stuff. It was quite disheartening to feel like I had to choose between birth control and no kids or the higher possibility of cancer and probably still no kids cuz I wasn't regular. I read this book and learned A LOT. There are so many ways to deal with your diagnosis, mentally, physically, and emotionally and this book covers it all. I even started making changes to the way I thought about my PCOS and feel more prepared to actually take care of myself in all aspects after reading this book. I started changing up my diet, my exercise routines and my mental health practice and I can finally say that I feel so much more in control and getting happier and healthier. 1000000% would recommend to anyone with PCOS or to their friends/family that want to know more so they can be better supporters.

Life changing!
This book is magical. I have had PCOS for a few years, and it's always "let's put you on birth control" but that never works. I love all of the alternative approaches to caring for PCOS in this book. Having tried soem of them, I haven't had a depressive episode in MONTHS, am not as moody, and have a decent menstrual cycle again! This book also taught me so much about nutrition that I didn't even know as a healthcare worker.

Oh my stars…
I absolutely love this book. I was diagnosed as a teen and 15ish years later I’m finally getting the info I need on having PCOS. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone just being diagnosed. It explains so much and gives to a light to what seems like a dark tunnel of weight gain and food struggles.

Great Resource
I’ve been diagnosed for years and have heard a lot of conflicting information about PCOS. This book is a wealth of knowledge about the disease process, hormones, blood tests, treatments, and especially a personal and holistic approach to medication, supplements, nutrition, healthful habits and mental health. After shying away from the doctor’s office for several years I was empowered by the first few chapters to make an appointment, ask for lab work and discuss starting a medication.I will be recommending this to every one I know that has PCOS!

Lots of great information
I think this is very thorough and easy to understand. It covers almost every question I’ve had about PCOS. I don’t use it as a workbook but the prompts may be helpful for those who enjoy taking notes/journaling.

Incredible book for anyone with PCOS
I am 44 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS at 28 years old. When I was first diagnosed my doctors knew little about PCOS and through the years I have managed with little information and lots of frustration. This book has given me so much valuable information, has made me feel empowered to improve my health and made me not feel like I have to be in a battle with my body. I highly recommend this book to anyone with PCOS. I never write reviews but this book is incredible.

Good for beginners
This book has a lot of information. The book itself is good quality for being used. It tells you a lot of what’s happening in your body but not how to help it.
