The first one was given to me by my orthopedic surgeon after knee surgery. It fits perfect for me, and the velcro straps cinch it down on my knee for maximum cold contact. The fabric allows the cold to seep through without burning my skin.That being said, I had to buy this one because the velcro fabric wears out after about 9 months, as does the inner liner (starts getting threadbare from repeatedly inserting/removing ice pack). Regardless, I remain a fan and customer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Using on forearm/elbow- works great *by W***N on September 19, 2018* I've used quite a few different kinds of ice packs as a triathlete of 12 years. These are very soft on the skin and don't feel cold to the touch. But once it's on, the cold starts to build. I get a good 20 minutes of very cold healing which is sufficient for treatment intervals. I could see where people would be disappointed in the size if this were used on a knee but on the arm, they get almost all the way around. I love the straps as I don't have to use an ace bandage and wrestle with that mess. I would highly recommend - they seem like quality construction and materials.
