It’s great! And comfort food

If I go to any grocery store I am not able to find any COOK AND SERVE pudding mixes, everything is INSTANT. I do not like the taste of instant pudding mixes, to me they taste like thickener, (flour). AMAZON is the only place I have been able to find cook and serve pudding mixes. This cook and serve pudding mix taste like home made pudding, the texture, the thickness resembles home made without making home made. But still the selections are very few, the only ones I am able to find are vanilla, chocolate, and lemon, good enough for me as these are all my favorites

This is tied as my favorite flavor of Jell-O cook & serve pudding, along with butterscotch. I make them in the microwave, cycling between power for 2 minutes then stirring, for about 3 times, then another 2 minutes keeping my eye on it very carefully. My microwave is like 950 watts.It's a few cents cheaper in my grocery store, but my store doesn't carry butterscotch, so when I feel like butterscotch, I just buy several here.I'm trying to get into home-made pudding using potato starch instead. When potato starch is cooked thoroughly then chilled completely, it becomes retrograde resistant, in which case it probiotic for our gut microbiome, gets fermented by the microbiota, and produces short-chain fatty acids.But I like pudding warm too, so when I'm going to eat it still warm anyway, this is good. After I cook it, I put it in the fridge or even freezer until it's no longer to hot to eat, and has started setting enough.I never buy sugar free. Sugar free products almost always have maltodextrin which is basically double-sugar, or sugar alcohols which kill your beneficial gut microbiota. Humans did NOT co-evolve for 3 million years with our gut microbiome eating sugar alcohols.

I always like to cook my pudding taste better

I love the cooking serve pudding the best because it gets that skin on top that's so good. Jello is a good brand. This wasn't a bad price either. It is very sweet however. A little more sugar than I'd prefer but I think most brands and puddings are a little high in sugar.
