This scale does it all
Following a low carb regimen is easy with this product. It is extremely easy to use. The numbers are large and bright; conversions are simple. It is very easy to clean and store. Many recipes use metric measurements so I can easily experiment in my kitchen. Also, I can easily weigh yarn which has no label. Great product all around.

Disappointed
I purchased this larger capacity scale to weigh large bowls with ingredients in them. When compared to my old 11 pound maximum weight scale, this new 33 pound maximum weight scale often weighs a 100 gram weight standard at only 98 grams. When using the HOLD button feature, the scale display weight increases as I push the HOLD button, so this feature cannot be used reliably. When weighing items on this new scale, I am forced to weigh them more than once to make sure the readings are consistent. That is the main issue I have with this scale. Its measurements are not consistent.

if you need a stylish and versatile scale for use around the home, this is a good investment.
This a well made and versatile scale. It has slim profile, a bright screen and large numerals. It can handle up to 11 lbs, and has several display options, ie, lbs, oz, kg, and grams.

Not repeatable. Not accurate
Sometimes you get what you pay for and the Taylor scale for me was that example. I wanted a high capacity scale that could hold a reading and thought I could save a few $$ with the Taylor unit. First impressions were disappointing. I would re-weigh the same item and get different values, changing by several grams between weighings. The hold feature turned out to be too complicated as well. You need to weight the item, then press the Hold button to have the scale lock in the reading. The feature allows you to see the weight of a large item when it covers the display. However, large items also cover the Hold button as well. So, I would frequently miss the button, or was unable to even reach it.In the end I returned the unit and purchased Soehnle 67080. Yes, the Soehnle costs more but the differences could not be more stark. The Soehnle is dead-on repeatedly accurate from 1 gram up to 15 Kg! And, it's easy to use with a hold function that works perfectly. The Amazon link is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003LSUC9W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I love this and melted my fist one by placing it on my toaster oven. My second one will be on the counter. It was great enough to buy twice!

Hold button needs sharp tap, otherwise weight changes
Hold button is located where a large object could cover it, making it impossible to press it. Also it take a sharp tap to activate the hold function, otherwise you will change the weight reading.

Inaccurate
I was baking a cake and was following a recipe by weight - this scale skipped numbers; even though I was adding sprinkles one at a time it wouldn't hit the target number. It's a shame, the size was good for mixing bowls and dinner plates and was easy to clean.

Seems to not like odd numbers
After many tried it won’t read out off numbers. Wish I could return it
