Made quick work of marking nut.
Was slightly bent, but I was able to correct it without too much trouble. Worked as described.

Very flimsy
Worked Ok but have to be very careful how you handle it or store it. Will bend easily. As long as you know that & treat it gently your good to go. I store it in my neck level tube.

Better than eyeballing!
I tried eyeballing, and this is much better! The spacing "tapers" as you move along the scale, so you can find an even-tempered spacing that matches your existing nut, or change the spacing, as you desire, all while keeping each string properly spaced from the strings on either side. My first use was on a nylon-stringed classical guitar, and this spacing ruler worked, perfectly, to provide the exact spacing of the original, worn nut. It says to use a mechanical pencil, which probably works a treat, but I used a very sharp No. 2, and had no issues.Excellent tool, excellent price, and very good service!

packaged very well
It came in a big box so it couldn't get damaged. took a little bit to find the string spacing I wanted but that's because I spread them out more than normal. spaced everything perfectly the way i wanted them, now i have to set up the rest of my guitars with it.

I doubt this will fit even the smallest guitar nut.
On a telecaster nut. Using the widest spacing, still five strings between 1 and 6 (that's one more than you need on a six string ) Absolutely useless on any of my eleven guitars and forget about even thinking about using this on a bass. And very thin and flimsy. Otherwise a nicely made piece.
