Nature's ChoiceDirty Dog 50:1 Shampoo Gallon

I have been a professional dog groomer over 25 years. I have used many different brands and products over of the years. Dirty Dog cleans even the greasiest, nastiest dogs and makes the hair crisper and faster to dry. My hands don't get chapped and dried out, especially in winter months, like they did with some other shampoos that have heavy detergents. I have no issues even on very sensitive, allergy prone dogs. This shampoo typically dilutes 50 to 1, but where I am located in Southern California we have very hard water which requires me to use it at more of a 25 to 1 ratio, which is still better than most concentrates. This last order came packaged so well, there wasn't a chance it would leak.

This shampoo really gets the job done. I did a greasy Cocker and a filthy cat with this shampoo today at work. In the past we had tried everything on the Cocker - including dishwashing liquid - and was never able to get him completely clean. Two latherings with "Dirty Dog" left him fluffy and smelling great. That's a first for him. The cat hadn't been groomed in many months, looked and SMELLED it. I soaked Kitty in pan of warm water with a shot of "Dirty Dog" in it and watched the shampoo solution slowly turn dark gray. A good rinsing and a blow drying, Kitty was squeaky clean, fluffy and stench free. It works great - but I do recommend the use of a high quality conditioning rinse on most dogs after its use, just to soften the coat a bit.

I love this shampoo! I first bought it over 20 years ago and have used it ever since. We live on a farm, and you never know what the animals are going to find to roll in, or get sprayed by! Hahaha! Not only does it do a great job on their coats- it's smells great and works wonderful! With the dilution rate- this gallon lasts us a LONG time!

This is my 4th gallon of product. Cleans well & smells great. Helps with deshedding & oily ears. I’m a fan.

So far so good - we have a few dogs and often take in a foster dog or two. With multiple dogs, keeping everyone clean is very important. This seems to be doing the trick w/o drying out their skin. I mixed the solution as directed and have been happy with the results.

I have been a dog groomer for almost 20 years and this is the best smelling shampoo I have used. The scent stays on the dogs long after their bath. Leaves hair shiny and soft, and is a great bargain concentrated 50-1. Will continue using for as long as I am grooming dogs.

I'm a professional pet groomer. The shampoo is Okey, it does not smell good like the others reviews. It cleans Okey. I'm not impressed with it.
