CRAFTSMAN Hammer, Fiberglass, 16 oz. (CMHT51398)

I picked up the CRAFTSMAN 16 oz. fiberglass hammer for general projects around the house, and it’s been a solid addition to my toolbox. It feels well-balanced in the hand and has enough weight to drive nails efficiently without feeling too heavy. The fiberglass handle does a good job absorbing shock, which makes a difference during longer jobs. The grip feels secure and comfortable, even when your hands get a little sweaty. Super impressed with this hammer. It reflects the quality Craftsman has been known for all these years. And I got it on sale for less than $7 on Amazon! The hammer appears to be well-made, and it feels great in my hand. Good weight, also. Easily the best purchase I have made on Amazon all year, and there have been hundreds. I see that the hammer has since returned to its regular $14 price point. It is still a bargain even at full price. It's a great item. I'm going to get many years of use from this fine hammer.

Strong hammer for securing tents in the ground!

I love this! It works great and it's not that heavy. It's a Craftsman tool!!! What more can you say? Plus it was not expensive. You know you need a hammer... buy one!

This craftsman hammer is a nice little hammer for smaller projects around the house. It has a cushioned grip, but the shape of the handle could be better. It is not as comfortable to hold as some other more expensive hammers. But for the price, I bought it on sale for $6, it is great. At full price, I would spend a tad more and go with a different brand.

nice and light curved claw allows use in tight places, I use it for electrical work, and when ever I set it down, others like the plumbers and cabinet guys "borrow" it, hmmmm
