Also, the battery status light started alternating green and red which the PC manual says indicates the battery is too hot to charge. But of course the battery was barely at room temperature.The battery came about 70% charged and I monitored it for a few minutes as it dropped to about 55% with the power adapter connected so, as warned, the battery was not being charged.I use a hardware monitoring program to display the battery status. It reported the battery’s capacity to already bd 7% less than full design capacity.I immediately reported this to Amazon and was immediately refunded. I have placed an order for a different battery (I hope) from a different seller. ### ⭐ Dead as Doornails ... Only had a few months... *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2020* Edit: dropped to 1 star, these are trash, both completely dead won't even last a second, went back to 3 year old ones that at least last through a power blink.Seemed ok for a while, I bought 2 and have 2 different laptops & multiple different power supplies and both batteries are behaving the same way no matter the combination of equipment. They don't charge normally, the charge light kinda blinks intermittently and sometimes not at all. It also is a bit tougher to install the battery than any batteries we've gotten before, it binds up and kinda jams. I've found that a bit of jiggling will get it to drop in correctly but it's more prone to the binding, so if it gets stuck you may need to slightly tweak the angle. ### ⭐ Does not fit! *by D***O on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2020* I tried two of these batteries and neither one would fit my Dell Vostro 1000 laptop. While it's the correct shape, it's unfortunately about 1/16" too thick to actually fully seat into the laptop.
