headphone holder - holds up my ATH-M40x headphones on a On-Stage or Hosa Mic Stand
I like this headphone holder. It works, Its a good price. But after I changed from using a dynamic mic to a condenser mic, I couldn't keep my headphones in the same place on my desk mic stand. For more than one reason - feedback when I lowered the stand to use the medium diaphragm condenser on my desk setup for telework MS Teams and Zoom and Go To Meeting meetings. So ironically, I am not using it for the first reason I bought the headphone holder. But it will work for when I am trying to record and monitor my guitar during home project studio recording sessions. Its nice and sturdy and cheap and cheerful. Just don't hang your monitor headphones too close to your sensitive high gain mic - feedback isn't good.

Works well
Been using it to hold a pair of headphones for storage underneath the desk or whenever I need to charge them for a few years now, stays on pretty secure although if you don't want to mark up whatever you're clamping it to use a felt pad or a bit of duct-tape so it doesn't bite into the wood.

Simple and effective, looks nice, stays out of the way, and feels strong.
I love this, I wouldn't recommend anything else over this.- The design is aesthetically pleasing and simplistic. I use it to hold my headphones while I drum and it does just that, while also staying out of the way in my kit.- The build quality is great, metal feels solid and won't bend under the weight of even some heavier headphones.- Mounting is solid, won't slip or wiggle, feels secure. If you use headphones while you drum/sing/strum, then get this. It makes things a lot easier.

These are great for the price
Once mounted these work perfectly to hold headphones onto any part of a mic stand (thick or thin). Heads up: There is a little (well shaped/designed) plastic piece at the end of the screw that securely grips the stand you are mounting this clip on to. This little plastic piece can and will fall off so keep an eye out for it. I was going to knock off a star on my review due to this piece then realized it needs to rotate freely to work properly. These are great for the price.

Maybe if it's going to go through a lot of transportation like being taken off/put back on a lot
There are a few reviews claiming that it's flimsy or doesn't stay up but I am having no issues with this at all for my use and purposes, especially for the price. Maybe if it's going to go through a lot of transportation like being taken off/put back on a lot, it might not last as long. However, if you're just putting it on a stand and leaving it, then it does what it's supposed to.I bought it for a simple, single use: to hang my headphones using the light floorstand near my bed. This is the purpose that I'll be reviewing for.Pros:+ doesn't slide+ seems sturdy enough+ hangs my headphonesCons:+ maybe doesn't hold more than 2 or 3 headphones?+ ??

A RECORDING STUDIO PROBLEM SOLVER
These are a huge problem solver in our recording studio. We had nowhere to hang the headphones. We have a 16-channel Powerplay headphone system and use headphones a lot but musicians were always hanging them in weird places or throwing them on the floor. These headphone hangers solved that problem instantly. Now you know where the headphones are and where they go, a real problem solver for me.These are a little lighter than some I've seen for twice the price, for half the price of the more expensive ones these work equally well and they're half the price, what's not to like?Good music to all!

but it's cheaply made and not something I would recommend unless you were going to use it on a ...
Solid product, but not quite as advertised. The little foot on the inside of the bracket, the part that actually makes contact with the stand, is angled. While this is probably helpful if you're working with a round object, I was attaching this clip to a square mic stand, making this a little unstable. I might not have picked this particular one had I been aware, but it seems okay. Additionally, it's worth noting that the soft foam on the inside is kind of sticky, and not actually designed to conform to the shape of the bracket - it's just a flat, rectangular piece which is molded as you tighten it down onto something. I'm not sure if I had to re-position my stand if it would stay. Lastly, if you're trying to attach this product to something smaller than 1/3 of an inch, look elsewhere: I have had to tighten the arm down all the way in order to get a firm hold on my mic stand, and I would prefer it to be a little more snug. All around, this is a functional product that does what it's supposed to, but it's cheaply made and not something I would recommend unless you were going to use it on a circular surface larger than an inch in diameter. One final note: my packaging was trashed on the inside, the plastic cover was shattered and stuck to the inside of the product. Although it came in one piece, I would be cautious about making sure things work before you toss your packaging, in case you have to send it back.

This is great! way better then having to drape your head phones over the pop screen or put them on your desk when your done using them. Now they can stay right by the microphone. the clamp opens wide so it can fit on the mic stand pretty well. when tightened it doesn't move at all and the hanger that holds the headphone is long so you could potentially put two headphones on it. its made out of metal, so the quality is excellent. the price point is just how i like it to be, cheap! and if you shop on amazon you know that the price of something never reflects its quality. inexpensive products are built with quality 9 times out of 10 when shopping on amazon.

Fine for the money
This hanger works fine but will not fit on larger diameter tubing such as the lower section of a cymbal stand.
