A little flimsy, the candles kept flopping over. But a fun little item for a birthday party, making the birthday kid feel special.

Candles and hat brim= flop over
Cost was cheap- true. Still, I found all the candles, the hat brim and hat crown + hat sides= the whole hat is a floppy, can't hold much of a shape sad sag item. I improvised using some stiff wire maybe a cut out coat hanger inserted in the inside of hat and bolstered with a cardboard insert (cut to size of hat crown) below the wire stiffeners using duct tape to attach wire to cardboard. Yes, this choice was really the only available Amazon costume Birthday choice and a quick timely one for a party. I'd be more than willing to pay twice the price to have a decent stiff built-in factor with the look of fun party time.
