Works great as described

Item was delivered a day ahead of schedule which is really cool. As soon as I opened it up and tried it the first two didn't fit I was starting to worry and think I bought the wrong one then, the third one was defo a charm* I'm not computer savvy but, I do tend to have moments and when I do it's an awesome thing for me. Fits great, works superb, charges likes it's supposed to. More durable than the one I used to have, so happy that it's compatible for my lap top* Thanks a bunch!* Means lots to be able to find this here.

Works great right of the box on my ASUS Vivo Book 17. did not have to use adaptor plugs. Was not sure if the problem was with the plug on my cord or the port on my computer as if I wiggled and set the wire just right it would charge with my old charger until you bumped or moved the computer. This new charger solved my problem. Plugged the new charger in, moved the computer, shook the computer and it keeps charging. Great inexpensive fix without having to send the computer out to be evaluated or serviced. I would buy again and recommend buying this before sending your computer out for an expensive repair if you have the problem not charging or you have to wiggle the cord to make yours work. The cord looks heavier duty than the one that came with my computer.

Perfect replacement

It's exactly what I needed for my Asus laptop (19V 2.37A 45W).

Lasted about 4 months before it started wearing out at the base of the charger, exposing the copper wire. I wish it lasted longer!! It charges fine but it does not do well with long term bending

Read to the end as I have edited this review. This review is for the first charger I ordered. It broke after 2 weeks. I ordered another one and the rest of this review has to do with the second charger which is also being returned. Has some great features like sending four different prongs for people who aren't good a micro measurements. Also the prong attachment snaps onto the cord so if it breaks, which my ASUS charger has done twice and still under warrantee, hopefully I can buy just the prong and not have to replace the whole charger. Only down side is the the two pieces can come apart. Easy to put back on. If I remember I can tape them together. HOWEVER the shipper is not the problem. This has to be the worst technical product ever designed. This is my 4th charger for a laptop that is still under warranty. The metal prong breaks if you look at it crooked. I've used laptops since they were invented and never had this problem before. Staples and BestBuy sell universal adaptors for $80+. They are made the same flimsy way. I would have have to buy them by the dozen to keep my computer running.
